Good morning! If you're reading this article you've probably already discovered that we've released a new and improved version of Rotoworld today. I'm sure at least some of you are repeating the old adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", so please humor us for a few minutes while we describe the new design.
The overall site has been refreshed with a more modern look. We've updated all of our graphics, introduced a new logo, and moved to cleaner lines and bolder colors. We've also streamlined and improved our site so that each page should load more quickly. We've restructured our menus to reduce vertical scrolling and improve readability. At the bottom of most pages you'll find new links to headlines and columns.
We know that you come to Rotoworld for the best fantasy news information on the Internet and one of our core goals in this redesign is to bring you more information in more places.
On the homepage
you'll notice that we're bringing the player news up closer to the top of the page, which not only gets you to the news that matters more easily, but also allows us to add one additional player news item to the homepage. We're also highlighting columns for each sport that we cover, so that you can choose the sport that matters most to you. We're very proud of our colleagues at NBC Sports Talk and we're delighted that we can highlight their hard work on our site now too.
On the Player News
pages we've made it easier to get right to detailed information about each player by highlighting links to items such as Player Outlooks and Game Logs.Individual Player Pages
have been streamlined to feature player stats and also include helpful information like depth charts.Team Pages
have been restructured to give you an at-a-glance view of the team's upcoming schedule plus their most recent headlines, injuries, and transactions.
For those of you who are aficionados of our Draft Guide
and Season Pass products, rest assured that those products are still here and function just as they always have.
We know these changes will take some getting used to, and we know the site's not perfect. Our team is working hard to fix any bugs and we'll continue to tweak the design and add new functionality and features along the way too. In the end, we hope that after you've had time to digest this new format you'll find that the new Rotoworld preserves what we all love about the site while also making it easier to use.
If you have any suggestions or are encountering any problems, please don't hesitate to contact us
. We'd love to hear from you.
Thank you for your continued support of Rotoworld.com
