May Designated Hitter Rankings

Monday, May 02, 2011

Welcome to the May rankings. Players are ranked based on how much value I believe they'll provide in 5x5 leagues over the rest of the season. Along with the position rankings, you'll find a fully updated top 250 list.

Designated Hitters

  • With Adam Lind, Luke Scott, Dan Johnson and Eric Chavez all qualifying at positions, it's just an eight-man list at DH.

  • Hafner is off to a great start, but now he's absent from Cleveland's lineup due to an ankle problem. He can't even stay healthy as a DH, so he's not really worth holding on to in mixed leagues.
