29 different teams are represented in the first 29 spots here, but the first Dodger doesn't appear until No. 38. I'm going with Jansen over the injured Broxton as the top Dodger on the list. He's throwing well since coming off the DL, and he has the stuff to run away with the closer gig should manager Don Mattingly let him. Mattingly, though, still hasn't grown comfortable with the converted catcher. For that reason, Kuo, MacDougal and Guerrier all appear in the top 70.
Javy Guerra
was also considered for a spot.
Broxton would have been ranked over Jansen if not for this week's setback. My guess is that he won't make it back to contribute in the second half, but given his upside, he was still worthy of a spot.
I still feel pretty confident ranking Bell third. While he probably wouldn't be quite so valuable outside of Petco Park, it seems unlikely that he'll be traded to a team that wouldn't use him a closer. Adams would likely take over as San Diego's closer if Bell is traded, though he is another candidate to be dealt.
It doesn't appear that blowing three straight save chances is going to get Walden replaced in Anaheim, but I have moved Downs up just in case. Downs has been plenty valuable in his setup role anyway, as he's picked up five victories already this season.
With Madson on the DL because of a hand injury, Bastardo is clear favorite for saves in Philadelphia right now. I kept Lidge right where he was last month. I'm not ruling him out as a potential source of saves over the final two months, but I think it's going to remain Madson's job.
