June Outfielder RankingsMonday, June 03, 2013
Welcome to the June outfielder rankings. Players are ranked based on how I believe they will perform in 5x5 leagues over the remainder of the season. Along with the position rankings, you'll find a fully updated top 300 list.

Top 300 | SP | RP | OF | 1B | 2B | SS | 3B | C | DH
Dropping off: Brandon Guyer (113th), Brandon Barnes (117th), Jose Tabata (119th)
- Even if not for the hamstring injury, Kemp would have come in 19th this month. As is, he's 24th. The time off may well aid him in the end.
- There's a good case for having Brown higher than 27th, but I'm still thinking back to his .233 month of April, when he hit just three homers. I'd also feel a little better about him if he didn't post a 21/0 K/BB ratio while hitting his 12 homers last month. Of course, the power is legit, but he's not sneaking up on anyone the rest of this year. He's likely to see a lot more pitches out of the zone now that he's the biggest threat in the Phillies lineup.
- Myers checks in at No. 65, up 16 spots after suddenly catching fire a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sold on him as a mixed-league asset, but he does have the upside to justify a pickup. I have to imagine that he'll be promoted within the next couple of weeks.
- As for Puig, my guess is that he's going to struggle against major league breaking balls and end up back in the minors once Kemp comes off the disabled list. I might be wrong, though, so it will be worth trying him in mixed leagues. He possesses the speed and power to be an excellent fantasy outfielder if he does make enough contact.
