Wrap-up: Kansas Speedway

The Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas hosted the Nationwide Series Kansas Lottery 300 on Saturday and the Sprint Cup Hollywood Casino 400 on Sunday. The Camping World Truck Series will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 19, at Talladega Superspeedway. The ARCA Racing Series wrapped up its season on Saturday at Kansas Speedway.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
Time Trials
: Kevin Harvick (29 Chevrolet) won the Pole Award for the Hollywood Casino 400 with a lap of 187.526 mph. This is his sixth pole in 460 NSCS races. Harvick breaks a 254-race pole drought with today's pole. His last pole came at New Hampshire in Sept. 2006, a race he won. This is Harvick's first pole in 16 races at Kansas Speedway.
Did Not Qualify: None. Only 43 teams on the entry list.
Winner:  Kevin Harvick won the Hollywood Casino 400, his 22nd victory in 460 NSCS races. Of his six career poles, Harvick has now won three of the corresponding races -- including each of the last two. This is his third victory and 16th top-10 finish in 2013. This is his first victory and seventh top-10 finish in 16 races at Kansas.

Time Trials: 
Austin Dillon (3 Chevrolet) won the Coors Light Pole Award for the Kansas Lottery 300 with a track qualifying record lap of 29.281 seconds, 184.420 mph. The previous record was set by Joey Logano in October 2012 (182.914 mph; 29.522 seconds). This is his 10th pole in 73 NNS races; his seventh pole and 24th top-10 start in 2013 and his first pole in two races at Kansas Speedway.
Did Not Qualify: No. 15 Chase Miller and No. 52 Joey Gase.
Winner: Sprint Cup regular Matt Kenseth won the Kansas Lottery 300, his 28th victory in 260 NNS races. He is now alone in sixth on the all-time NNS wins list. This is the No. 18 Toyota driver's second NNS victory and 10th top-10 finish in 2013. It is his first victory and sixth top-10 finish in seven NNS races at Kansas Speedway.
