Wrap-up: Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosted the Nationwide Series Boyd Gaming 300 on Saturday and the Sprint Cup Kobalt 400 on Sunday. The Camping World Truck Series returns to action with the Kroger 200, Saturday, March 29 at Martinsville Speedway. Also, the latest results on the ARCA Racing Series and the NASCAR “Home Tracks” are shown below.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
Time Trials:
Joey Logano won the Coors Light Pole Award for the Kobalt 400 with a lap of 27.939 seconds, 193.278 mph. This is the No. 22 Ford Fusion driver's eighth pole in 186 NSCS races. It is his first pole and second top-10 start in 2014. This is Logano's first pole in six races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He led 44 laps and finished the race in fourth place.
Did Not Qualify: No. 35 Blake Koch, No. 40 Landon Cassill, No. 77 Dave Blaney, No. 87 Joe Nemechek and No. 44 J.J. Yeley.
Winner:
Brad Keselowski won the Kobalt 400, his 11th victory in 164 NSCS races. He becomes the first driver to sweep both the NASCAR Nationwide and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the same weekend since Jeff Burton did it in 2000. This is the No. 2 Ford Fusion driver's first Cup victory and third top-10 finish in 2014. It is his first victory and second top-10 finish in six NSCS races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

NASCAR Nationwide Series
Time Trials:
Ty Dillon won the Coors Light Pole Award for the Boyd Gaming 300 with a lap of 29.625 seconds, 182.278 mph. This is the No. 3 VF/Jiffy Lube Chevrolet Camaro driver's first pole in 15 NNS races. It is his second top-10 start in 2014. Dillon led seven laps in the race. He suffered a double pit-road speeding penalty (speeding while serving the first penalty) late in the race and finished two laps down in 11th place.
Did Not Qualify: None, only 40 cars entered for 40 starting spots.
Winner: Sprint Cup regular Brad Keselowski (Nationwide Series No. 22 Ford Mustang) won the Boyd Gaming 300, his 28th victory in 208 NNS races. This is his first NNS victory and third top-10 finish in 2014. It is his first NNS victory and third top-10 finish in eight races at Las Vegas.
