Wrap-up: Auto Club Speedway

The Auto Club Speedway hosted the Nationwide Series 300 on Saturday and the Sprint Cup Auto Club 400 on Sunday. The Camping World Truck Series returns to action with the Kroger 200, Saturday, March 29 at Martinsville Speedway. Also, the latest results on the ARCA Racing Series and the NASCAR “Home Tracks” are shown below.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
Time Trials:
Matt Kenseth won the Coors Light Pole Award for the Auto Club 400 with a lap of 38.438 seconds, 187.315 mph. This is the No. 20 Toyota Camry driver's 12th pole in 513 NSCS races. It is his first pole and third top-10 start in 2014 and his first pole in 22 races at Auto Club Speedway. Kenseth has three victories at ACS. He started 24th, 25th and 31st in the three races he won at the track. Kenseth led 19 laps in this race and finished in fourth place.
Did Not Qualify: None, only 43 cars entered for the 43 starting positions.
Kyle Busch won the Auto Club 400, his 29th victory in 334 NSCS races. This is the No. 18 Toyota Camry driver's first victory and second top-10 finish in 2014. It is his third victory and 12th top-10 finish in 17 races at Auto Club Speedway.

NASCAR Nationwide Series
Time Trials:
Elliott Sadler won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 300 with a lap of 40.680 seconds, 176.991 mph. This is the No. 11 Toyota Camry driver's 16th pole in 235 NNS races. It is his first pole and third top-10 start in 2014 and his first pole in ten races at Auto Club Speedway.
Sadler never led a lap during the race but finished in fifth place.
Did Not Qualify: None, only 40 entries for 40 spots.
Winner: Sprint Cup regular Kyle Larson won the 300, his first victory in 38 NNS races. This is the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro driver's fifth top-10 NNS finish in 2014. This is his second top-10 finish in two races at Auto Club Speedway. His victory ends the streak of nine consecutive NNS wins at Auto Club Speedway by Joe Gibbs Racing drivers.
