Wrap-up: Kansas Speedway

The Kansas Speedway (Kansas City, Kansas) hosted the Camping World Truck Series SFP 250 on Friday night and the Sprint Cup 5-Hour ENERGY 400 on Saturday night. The Nationwide Series returns to action with the NC Education Lottery 200, Friday, May 16 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The latest results on the ARCA Racing Series and the NASCAR “Home Tracks” are also shown below.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
Time Trials:
Kevin Harvick won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 5-hour ENERGY 400 Benefiting Special Operations Warrior Foundation with a lap of 27.799 seconds, 194.252 mph (a new track record). This is the No. 4 Chevrolet SS driver's eighth pole in 477 NSCS races. It is his second pole and sixth top-10 start in 2014. This is Harvick's second pole in 17 races at Kansas Speedway. Harvick led a race-high 119 laps and finished in second place.
Did Not Qualify: No. 77 Dave Blaney.
Winner:
Jeff Gordon won the 5-hour ENERGY 400 Benefiting Special Operations Warrior Foundation, his 89th victory in 736 NSCS races. This is the No. 24 Chevrolet SS driver's first victory and eighth top-10 finish in 2014. This is his third victory and 12th top-10 finish in 17 races at Kansas Speedway.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
Time Trials:
Sprint Cup regular (No. 18 Toyota Camry) Kyle Busch won the Keystone Light Pole Award for the SFP 250 with a lap of 30.181 seconds, 178.921 mph (a new track record). This is the No. 51 Toyota Tundra driver's 13th pole in 117 NCWTS races. It is his first pole and second top-10 NCWTS start in 2014. This is Busch's first pole in three NCWTS races at Kansas Speedway.
Did Not Qualify:None, only 31 trucks entered for the 36 spots.
Winner:Kyle Busch won the SFP 250, his 37th victory in 117 NCWTS races. This is the No. 51 Toyota Tundra driver's second victory and second top-10 NCWTS finish in 2014. It is his first victory and second top-10 finish in three NCWTS races at Kansas Speedway. Busch led the most laps in the race (104 of 167).
