Wrapup: Martinsville Speedway

Martinsville Speedway hosted the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) races this past weekend. The NCWTS held the 200-lap Texas Roadhouse 200 on Saturday at the 0.526-mile oval in Virginia. The MENCS featured the 505-lap (5-lap overtime) First Data 500 on Sunday afternoon. The NASCAR XFINITY Series will return to action with the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday, November 4. The results and upcoming scheduled events for the ARCA Racing Series, NASCAR Home Tracks and other covered series are also shown below.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS)
Time Trials: Joey Logano (No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford) won the Coors Light Pole Award for the First Data 500 with a lap of 96.504 mph. This is his 19th pole in 324 MENCS races. It is his second pole and 19th top-10 start in 2017 and his fourth pole in 18 races at Martinsville. Martin Truex Jr. (second) posted his 26th top-10 start of 2017 and his seventh in 24 Martinsville races. Chase Elliott (third) posted his fourth top-10 start at Martinsville and his 18th in 33 races this season. Erik Jones (eighth) was the fastest qualifying Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender.  
Did not qualify: No one. 40 cars entered for 40 spots in the lineup.

Results: Kyle Busch (No. 18 M&M's Halloween Toyota) won the First Data 500, his 43rd victory in 459 MENCS races. This is his fifth victory and 20th top-10 finish in 2017 and his second victory and 14th top-10 finish in 25 races at Martinsville. Martin Truex Jr. (second) posted his eighth top-10 finish in 24 Martinsville races and his 23rd top-10 finish in 2017. Clint Bowyer (third) posted his 14th top-10 finish in 24 races at Martinsville. Daniel Suarez (15th) was the highest finishing Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender. Pole-sitter Joey Logano led 59 laps and finished the 505-lap race in 24th place.

Standings: Martin Truex Jr. leads the point standings by 17 points over Kyle Busch.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS)
Time Trials: Chase Briscoe (No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-150) won the Keystone Light Pole Award for the Texas Roadhouse 200 with a lap 95.762 mph. This is his third pole in 20 NCWTS races. It is his third pole and 14th top-10 start in 2017 and his first pole in two races at Martinsville. Matt Crafton (second) posted his 17th top-10 start of 2017 and his 15th in 32 Martinsville races. Ben Rhodes (third) posted his second top-10 start at Martinsville and his 15th in 20 races this season.  
Did not qualify: No. 57 Mike Senica.

Results: Noah Gragson (No. 18 Switch Toyota Tundra) won the Texas Roadhouse 200, his first victory in 22 NCWTS races. This is his 12th top-10 finish in 2017 and second top-10 finish in two races at Martinsville. Matt Crafton (second) posted his 19th top-10 finish in 32 races at Martinsville. It is his 14th top-10 finish in 2017. Johnny Sauter (third) posted his 11th top-10 finish in 20 Martinsville races. Pole-sitter Chase Briscoe led 39 laps and finished the 200-lap race in 19th place.

Standings: Christopher Bell leads the point standings by three points over Johnny Sauter.
