Other News and Notes

Aaron Brooks had 13 points, two assists, four steals and three 3-pointers for the Kings on Saturday and has played well in three straight games.  Dropping Isaiah Thomas or A.J. Price for Brooks makes sense for now.

Ricky Rubio is hoping to be cleared for full-contact practice on Monday and appears to be nearing a return from knee surgery.  After seeing Kevin Love make a surprise early return for the Wolves, it’s time to pick Rubio up.

Injury Report

DeShawn Stevenson back – Day-to-day for Hawks, but no fantasy value.

Devin Harris toe – Day-to-day, but you can find a better free agent to own.

Bismack Biyombo leg – Dropping him for Robin Lopez or Lavoy Allen makes sense.

Tyrus Thomas calf – Out indefinitely and should not be held.

Gerald Henderson foot – Could come back this week, but not a must-own player.

Derrick Rose knee surgery – Still looking like a March return, at best.

Kyrie Irving finger – Out another month, making Jeremy Pargo a must-own.

Dirk Nowitzki knee surgery – Getting closer, so just keep him stashed.

Wilson Chandler hip – Still struggling with injury and not playing much. Ignore.

Rodney Stuckey ankle – Can’t stay healthy, struggling for consistency.  Bench.

Richard Jefferson calf – Ignore him.

Andrew Bogut ankle – Targeting Dec. 1, but I wouldn’t put him in a lineup.

Carlos Delfino groin – Chandler Parsons is the man, so ignore Delfino.

Danny Granger knee – Targeting February.

Grant Hill knee – Out indefinitely and probably won’t be worth owning.

Chauncey Billups Achilles – Nearing a return, but I’m still not expecting much.

Steve Blake abdomen – Will be even more useless when Nash is back.

Steve Nash leg – Still can’t even run, so just keep him benched until further notice.

Shane Battier knee – Won’t have value as long as Dwyane Wade is healthy.

Chase Budinger knee surgery – Looking at a March return.

Brandon Roy knee surgery – Targeting late December, but career in jeopardy.

Ricky Rubio knee surgery – Could play in next few weeks, stash him.

Brandon Jennings ankle – Iffy for Monday, watch for news.

Anthony Davis ankle/foot – Sounds like he’ll miss two more weeks.

Eric Gordon knee – Still not close and I’m not even stashing him.

Amare Stoudemire knee surgery – Still a few weeks away and I’m not holding him.

Iman Shumpert knee surgery – Targeting January return, not worth stashing.

Hedo Turkoglu hand – Still no target date and I’m not holding him.

Al Harrington knee surgery – Getting closer, but not a must-own player.

Andrew Bynum knee – Just hoping he’ll play at all this season. Bust.

LaMarcus Aldridge back – Hoping to play Monday, watch for updates.

Stephen Jackson finger – Out until December.

Kawhi Leonard quad – Targeting Dec. 1, so keep him benched.

Alan Anderson ankle – Still not close for Raptors.

Landry Fields elbow – Still not close.

Mo Williams foot – He’s day-to-day, Jamaal Tinsley filling in at PG.

Trevor Booker knee – More good news for Kevin Seraphin.

John Wall knee – Still no target date, but just keep him stashed.
