Here are 25 players you should be taking a look at as we head into Week 10 in fantasy hoops. Nick Young and Andrew Bogut aren't listed, but they should be owned in most leagues already. Let's dive right in.
Editor's Note: Rotoworld's partner FanDuel is hosting a one-day $40,000 Fantasy Basketball league for Monday night's games. It's $25 to join and first prize is $6,000. Starts at 7:30pm ET on Monday. Here's the FanDuel link.
Reggie Jackson OKC 52 percent owned
With news that Russell Westbrook is out until after the All-Star Break with more surgery, Jackson becomes a no-brainer in fantasy. I’m not going to bother with stats, predictions or anything else. How he’s available in 48 percent of Yahoo! leagues is a mystery to me, so stop what you’re doing and go pick him up. And the fact the Thunder are about to go on a four-game per week tear is icing on the cake.
Jordan Farmar LAL 22%
Farmar is back from his hamstring injury and after struggling on Christmas Day, he bounced back with a big line on Friday with 16 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, three steals and a 3-pointer. The three-game week is a minor buzzkill, but with Steve Nash (back) on the verge of retirement and Steve Blake (elbow) nowhere in sight, Farmar looks like a must-own player at this point.
Tony Wroten PHI 19%
Despite the return of Michael Carter-Williams, Wroten, who had 22 points, two 3-pointers and two steals on Saturday, is averaging 16 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.6 3-pointers over his last five. The Sixers only play three games this week, but with Wroten’s strong play and MCW’s propensity to be injured, Wroten looks like a solid player to hold going forward.
D.J. Augustin CHI 22%
Augustin takes a hit now that Kirk Hinrich is healthy again, but still might be the better point guard to own in Chicago. He’s scored in double figures in four straight games and is averaging 13.0 points, 6.4 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.4 3-pointers over his last five games. And with four games this week and Hinrich moving at such a slow pace, DJA might be able to help your team right now.
Beno Udrih NYK 5%
I don’t really know what to make of Udrih, who has been very inconsistent despite starting in place of Raymond Felton in several recent games. Felton missed Saturday’s game with a groin injury and those can be tricky. One look at Udrih’s game log will tell you his story, as he’s scored 5, 15, 2, 10 and 4 points in each of his last five games. But he’s averaging 6.2 assists and 1.4 steals over that stretch and if Felton is going to miss more time, Udrih will simply have to play.
