Friday Fanduel Partners lineup

Friday, March 25, 2016

Well this is it, and it doesn’t look like I’m going to the Playboy Mansion, barring a miracle. But this contest was a ton of fun and I competed with the big boys on most nights. And had I left my original lineup alone on Wednesday, I'd have 32 more points and have a real shot at the big prize, or at least a Top 3 finish. Here’s my lineup for Friday’s Final installment of the Fanduel Partners Championship, and I’m going to make a vow not to change this lineup unless someone is ruled out prior to tip off.

Here’s the link to the FPC site where you can see lineups, standing and results.

Update: While I'm fine with Lineup 2 below (my original, last night) and am using it tonight in places (out of princlple), a few developments have popped up that make Lineup 1 my preferred choice now.

Lineup 1

PG John Wall $9,700 I love Elfrid tonight, but Wall's guaranteed.

PG J.J. Barea $3,800 No Deron, no Devin...

SG James Harden $10,800 All day.

SG Wesley Matthews $4,100 Still love him.

SF Giannis Antetokounmpo $9.900 Best SF on board.

SF Kyle Anderson $3,500 Minimum salary, no Kawhi, no Danny Green

PF Draymond Green $8,200 Worried about a blowout here, could go Aldridge instead.

PF Jon Leuer/Markieff Morris $4,600/$5,100 (flip a coin - I have Leuer in there now)

C Salah Mejri $4,700 Best value play at center.

Lineup 2

PG Elfrid Payton $5,400

PG Ricky Rubio $7.100

SG James Harden $10,800

SG Wesley Matthews $4,100

SF Giannis Antetokounmpo $9,900

SF Andrew Wiggins $6,900

PF Julius Randle $6,300

PF Jon Leuer $4,600

C Salah Mjeri $4,700

Point Guards

Elfrid Payton will hopefully be starting tonight, but even if he doesn’t, he’s coming off a triple-double off the bench in his last game. Ricky Rubio has been playing very well, but struggled in his last game. I’m hoping for a bounce back here.

Shooting Guards

You can’t go wrong with James Harden, who has had between 45 and 60 Fanduel points in each of his last five games. Wesley Matthews is heating up due to the absence of Chandler Parsons and should be good for at least 30 FD points tonight.

Small Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo was the top-dollar SF on the board tonight and can triple-double at any time. Andrew Wiggins has been rolling and there’s no reason he shouldn’t have a big game against the Wizards.

Power Forwards

Julius Randle is rolling, hitting between 33 and 43 FD points in three of his last four games and gets a nice matchup against the Nuggets. Leuer should be good again with Tyson Chandler already ruled out, and has racked up 32-plus FD points in each of his last two games.

Center

Salah Mejri has been the talk of Rotoworld over the last few days after going for 29.9 FD points on Wednesday, and 43 FD points in his previous game. The Mavs seem to love him and the price is right.

Here we go!
