With five games, Malik Beasley is probably worth owning everywhere, but he’s really cooled off in his last two games, scoring just four and seven points in them. The minutes are still there and he only needs a couple good games to return value. Will Barton should be nearing a return from his hip injury and is worth a look, along with Nuggets Mason Plumlee, Monte MorrisJuancho Hernangomez, Torrey Craig, Paul Millsap and Trey Lyles. And be sure that Gary Harris isn’t floating around on your waiver wire.

Additionally, Devin Booker left Sunday with a back injury and Josh Jackson started the second half for him and had his best game of the season. The Suns only have three games, but Jackson is worth a look now. DeAndre' Bembry is now starting for the Hawks and played well on Sunday, and is also worth a four-game look for Week 13.

Point Guards

4 Derrick White Spurs 44 percent owned in Yahoo! leagues – White is averaging 16.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.4 3-pointers over his last five games, and is shooting a lights-out 73 percent from the floor over that stretch. With four games, he’s nearly a must-own player at this point.

4 Bryn Forbes Spurs 32% - Forbes is averaging 13 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.0 3-pointers on 48 percent shooting over his last five. He’s kind of a 3-point specialist, but the assists, steals and good shooting help bolster his value.

3 Tyler Johnson Heat 36% – Johnson hasn’t really been killing it, but he has been effective with Goran Dragic out indefinitely. TJ is averaging 11 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.0 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.4 3-pointers on 45 percent shooting over his last five games.

4 D.J. Augustin Magic 45% – Augustin’s been playing very well for the Magic and has at least six assists in five straight games. He’s averaging 15.3 points, 6.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.8 3-pointers over his last four games and the Magic play four times in Week 13.

4 Trey Burke Knicks 7% - Burke scored 16 points in just 19 minutes on Friday, as he works his way back from a knee injury. He didn’t do much besides score on Friday, and I’d much rather own Emmanuel Mudiay, but in deep leagues, Burke might be available and might be ready to start producing.

Shooting Guards

4 Gordon Hayward Celtics 88% – I can almost guarantee you that one of Hayward’s owners had enough of him after his zero-point game on New Year’s Eve and cut him. And of course, Hayward immediately caught fire and went nuts, scoring 35 points with four 3-pointers and five dimes on Wednesday, and backing that up with 16 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, a block and two 3-pointers on Friday. He should no longer be available anywhere, but he could easily go back to struggling for the deep Celtics. If he’s sitting on your waiver wire, go get him.

4 Austin Rivers Rockets 16%

4 Gerald Green Rockets 4% – Rivers has been fantastic since Gordon went down, averaging 14.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.6 steals and 3.0 3-pointers on 44 percent shooting over his last five games. He’s playing 39 minutes a night right now and both Rivers and Green have been filling in for Eric Gordon (knee) who is iffy for Week 13.

Green has scored in double digits in three straight games and is averaging 12.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 0.4 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.8 3-pointers on 48 percent shooting over his last five. He’ll take a hit once Gordon’s back, but for now he’s worth a shot.

4 Reggie Bullock Pistons 18% – Bullock has hit double digits in four of his last five games and is at 13.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.4 steals and 3.2 3-pointers on 41 percent shooting over his last five. He’s not going to do much besides score and hit triples, so he’s not a great option for everyone.

Small Forwards

3 Kyle Anderson Grizzlies 72% – Anderson triple-doubled on Friday and filled the stat sheet on Saturday, snapping a five-game streak of double-digit scoring with seven points. He’s averaging 12.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.8 blocks, 1.0 steals and 0.4 3-pointers on 66 percent shooting over his last five games. It took a long time, but he’s finally living up to the hype.

3 Derrick Jones Jr. Heat 7% - DJJ had a monster game on Wednesday with 13 points, seven boards, two assists, two steals, a block and three 3-pointers, and is averaging 8.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 0.8 steals, 0.6 blocks and 0.8 3-pointers over his last five, hitting 67 percent of his shots. He’s been bumped up in the rotation and coach Erik Spoelstra likes him. It’s time to pick him up, although the Heat only go three times in Week 13.

4 Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Lakers 56% - KCP is feeling it, scoring in double digits in four straight games going into Sunday’s contest. He’s averaging 21 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 4.3 3-pointers over his last five games and the Lakers play four times this week.

4 Kevin Huerter Hawks 11% - Huerter’s having a nice rookie season and is pretty hot right now, averaging 12.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.4 steals, 0.6 blocks and 2.2 3-pointers over his last five. He’s only hitting 39 percent of his shots in those games and will take a hit once Taurean Prince is finally back from his knee injury, but he’s worth a flier in deeper leagues. Prince is out again on Sunday, but should be coming back soon.

3 E’Twaun Moore Pelicans 30% - Moore is hot, scoring in double figures in four straight games and averaging 13.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.8 3-pointers on 50 percent shooting over his last five. I don’t love him in a three-game week, but he’s playing well enough to be considered in most leagues. Moore is dealing with a sore leg and is iffy for Monday, so make sure he's good to go before picking him up.

Power Forwards

4 Larry Nance Jr. Cavs 79% – He’s owned in a ton of leagues and is averaging 10.2 rebounds, 8.4 boards, 4.0 assists, 2.4 steals, 0.6 blocks and is shooting 54 percent over his last five games. I know he was recently dropped and added in some of my leagues, so make sure he’s not sitting out there in yours.

3 Bobby Portis Bulls 33% – Portis is expected back from his knee injury on Sunday and has been out since Dec. 19. He’ll have to battle with Lauri Markkanen, and isn’t guaranteed to have a huge role, but he’s averaging 11.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, 0.8 blocks and 0.7 3-pointers in his nine games this season. He’s worth a flier until we see how things shake out for the tanking Bulls.

4 Jeff Green Wizards 37% – Green has been on fire, but Otto Porter Jr. has to hurt him at some point. Then again, with Markieff Morris out indefinitely with his neck injury, Green should still have some gas left in the tank. He’s at 12 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 0.4 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.0 3-pointers on 42 percent shooting over his last five, and the Wiz play four times in Week 13.

3 JaMychal Green Grizzlies 16% - Green’s been rebounding the ball well, but has also scored in single digits in four of his last five games. He’s averaging 9.2 points, 7.8 boards and 0.8 3-pointers over his last five, but you can probably find a four-game player to use in Week 13, as the Grizzlies only play three times.

Centers

3 DeMarcus Cousins Warriors 82% - I personally don’t love Cousins this season, as the Warriors don’t really need him to do much in order to win games. Ruptured achilles tendons are no joke and I think the Warriors are going to take baby steps with the big man. Having said that, if he’s sitting out there on your waiver wire, now’s the time to take a flier on him.

4 Thomas Bryant Wizards 55% – Bryant’s one of the better stories in the NBA this season after getting cut by the Lakers, Markieff Morris (neck) is out for at least six weeks, and no one has seen or heard from Dwight Howard in weeks. Bryant’s at 13.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.2 blocks on 68 percent shooting over his last five games, and is simply a must-own player at this point, especially with the four games.

4 Luke Kornet Knicks 24% - Kornet is starting over Enes Kanter and playing well, averaging 14.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.4 steals, 0.6 blocks and 3.8 3-pointers over his last five games. The Knicks go four times in Week 13 and the UniKornet should be a really hot pickup.

3 Willy Hernangomez Hornets 19% - Willy is filling in for Cody Zeller (broken hand) and is averaging 6.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and not much else. He’s far from a must-own player and the Hornets only have three games this week, but Willy’s at least worth keeping an eye on going forward, as Zeller’s going to be out until the All-Star break.
