Bo Scaife, Titans TE
If you're in need of a TE, Bo Scaife is definitely worth a gamble. Over the last 4 games, Scaife has averaged 7 targets. And over his last 2 games has gotten 5 RZ targets. Owned in just 9% of Yahoo leagues, and facing the Rams this week, Scaife is a low end TE1 option. I would try to grab Fred Davis first, but if he's not available, Scaife could be a godsend this week.
Josh Morgan, 49ers WR
Over the last 2 games Josh Morgan has gotten 16 targets, and a team-leading 6 in the Red Zone. The two receiving options ahead of Morgan -- Michael Crabtree and Vernon Davis -- were thrown to 20 and 18 times over the past 2 weeks. Aside from having a fantastic last name, Morgan, has become a more reliable option for Alex Smith as of late. Out of the 8 targets he's gotten in each of the past two games, Morgan has caught 6 passes both times. The ability to convert targets into receptions is a frequently underrated skill in receivers.
While he's not a WR3 quite yet, I would definitely give Morgan flex play consideration. This week he faces an average pass defense in Arizona, but should still see plenty targets because the Cardinals will be keying in on Crabtree and Davis.
Owned in just 5% of Yahoo leagues, Morgan is clearly somewhat of a gamble. However, as my high school basketball once said: You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Only the very desperate should start Morgan this week as a flex, but he's worth a pickup considering that he faces the porous Detroit Lions' pass defense in Week 16, when he will be a quality WR3 option.
Kahlil Bell, Bears RB
Not too much to talk about here. Just a reminder to all Forte owners: Pick up Bell. He got 11 carries last week, and Lovie Smith has said he wants to lighten Forte's load. If you have Forte, you're likely relying on him quite a bit, and will have a tough time replacing him. Despite the Bears tough matchups, always handcuff your studs.
Antonio Bryant, Bucaneers WR
Despite his re-emergence as a relevant fantasy receiver, don't play Bryant this week. The best corner in football, Darrelle Revis (Jets) has spent the entire season shutting down opponents' top wide outs. There's no reason to think this week will be any different. I know Bryant's been a hot pickup, but not this week. Just sayin'.
