How to Dominate Your DraftWednesday, August 31, 2011
Now that the third preseason week is in the books, our study time is nearly up. We have scouted emerging players like Matthew Stafford, adjusted to depth chart changes in places such as Washington and digested new roles for players like Reggie Bush.
So instead of using old rankings with old news on draft day, we are bringing the freshest takes to the table. Your opponents might not know that Matt Ryan chucked the ball 42 times in one half Saturday, but we have already updated our projections to reflect the Falcons' change in philosophy. Someone might not realize that Ryan Williams is out for the year and has thus neglected to give Beanie Wells a bump. Felix Jones' wildly impressive preseason needs to be noted.
