Week 8 Live Blog

Sunday, October 27, 2013

Welcome to Week 8 of the National Football League fantasy division. Below I will give you the actives and inactives then take you through the early Week 8 action.

We also have Week 8 Rankings from Mr. Pat Daugherty, Nick Mensio’s sleeper picks, Jeff Ratliffe's D/ST picks, my AFC and NFC Targets and Touches and Evan Silva's detailed look at every game in his Matchup Column. So click on all of those and read them word for word and I'll quiz you when you get back.

ACTIVES & INACTIVES

* Jimmy Graham is active, but won't be 100%. ESPN Saints blogger Mike Triplett believes there's a "small chance" Jimmy Graham (foot) will not play Sunday against the Bills, "or will just be a decoy." This is a very tough situation. I would go with your backup plan for Graham unless you don't have one. And of course HERE is a picture of him dunking on the goal post. Jay Glazer on Jimmy Graham: "He's not gonna play the normal snaps. Look for him in RZ, 3rd downs, things like that."

* DeMarco Murray is OUT. Joseph Randle will get the start against the Lions, with Lance Dunbar also working into the mix.

* Miles Austin is out. Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley will get a very slight bump in snaps.

* Aqib Talib inactive. That's good news for the Dolphins receivers.

* Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) is inactive. Peyton Hillis will get the lead back work with Michael Cox also getting some work.

* C.J. Spiller (ankle) is inactive and Fred Jackson will get the start.

* Michael Vick (hamstring) is active and will get the start for the Eagles.

* Danny Amendola is active for Week 8 against the Dolphins.

* Peyton Manning is battling sprains in both ankles, including a right high-ankle sprain, but will play.

* Mark Ingram (toe) is inactive.

* Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts are both active.

* Dwayne Bowe (groin) is active. He is not a recommended play this week.

Good luck on all your teams today!
