TE Notes: Rob Gronkowski (lung) will be the No. 1 option if he gets cleared. … Greg Olsen is in a slump — 16/135/1 over his past four games — but remains the TE2 by average points. Allowing the eighth most fantasy points to tight ends, the Raiders couldn’t contain C.J. Fiedorowicz in Mexico City. It’s just a matter of time for Olsen. … Averaging a career-high 14.2 yards per catch, Jimmy Graham is playing with a physical dominance and violence his game wasn’t always known for in New Orleans. … It’s possible Jamison Crowder has lowered Jordan Reed’s ceiling a tad, but his floor remains 5/50. … Rishard Matthews could be threatening Delanie Walker’s status as the Titans’ No. 1 receiver, but Walker has drawn fewer than five targets only once all season. He’s averaging seven. The Bears are a middle-of-the-road matchup. … Tyler Eifert will lead the Bengals in targets during A.J. Green’s absence. Even in shy-away matchups like this week’s against the Ravens, he’s impossible to ignore as an elite option.

Eric Ebron is averaging 80 yards in three games since returning from injury. The Vikings’ otherwise stout defense is vulnerable to seam stretchers. … Despite Alex Smith’s struggles, Travis Kelce has two 100-yard efforts in his past four games. The Broncos’ elite defense doesn’t erase tight ends like it does wideouts. Kelce is a comfortable top-eight option. … Kyle Rudolph’s steady early-season pace has been replaced by more erratic production. Thankfully for Week 12, he has a plus matchup in the Lions. The expected absence of Stefon Diggs (knee) could create a targets bonanza. … Refusing to go away, Antonio Gates has at least nine targets in four straight games. … By necessity for his struggling offense, Zach Ertz has started producing as a much-steadier presence. Week 12 opponent Green Bay is allowing the fifth-most tight end fantasy points. … Martellus Bennett was a colossal Week 11 disappointment, but owners will have no choice but to fire him up as a TE1 if Rob Gronkowski misses his second straight game.

Jason Witten has no upside, but should hit his five-catch floor against a Redskins defense allowing 6.6 weekly tight end receptions. … C.J. Fiedorowicz is the preferred target of Brock Osweiler, a quarterback who struggles to push the ball more than 5-6 yards up the field. The Chargers are neither an attackable nor stay-away opponent. … Gary Barnidge has Josh McCown back, but he’s lost the fantasy benefit of the doubt. 24 seam stretchers are averaging more weekly fantasy points. … Despite making a bevy of his usual mistakes, Jared Cook exploded for 6/105/1 in his return. For now, we’ll assume it was a fluke, especially against the tight end tough Eagles. … Will Tye was quiet in Week 11. He’ll have a chance to get loud against a Browns that’s allowed a staggering 70/770/9 to enemy tight ends in 11 games. … The Colts can’t stop tight ends, but Ladarius Green has yet to graduate past dart throw status.
