We missed you!
It’s been a tough year for fantasy hockey fans with the 113 day lockout but it looks like the NHL season will begin on January 19th and a 48 game schedule will be played.
This means we at Rotoworld can finally get back to the NHL and its news. No more KHL updates, no more European updates, no more AHL scores, just NHL news.
We are working diligently at finishing our NHL Guide, which is the best in the business and you can buy it here! We have finished updating all our stats and have converted it to the 48 game schedule. We will be constantly updating these stats through the start of the NHL season, taking into account injuries, trades and free agent signings.
At the same time you can go to Yahoo!, who we have partnered up with at NBC and sign up for one or more NHL fantasy leagues with the leader in fantasy sports games. Click here to go to Yahoo! Hockey.
The final step in the Draft Guide will be our schedule grid. Unfortunately, the NHL schedule isn’t due to come out until Wednesday according to sources, but once it does, then it will be only a few hours until we will have it up on our site.
Our Senior Hockey Editor Brian Rosenbaum will have a live hockey chat Wednesday so don’t forget to join him and ask all your fantasy hockey questions.
Find out where every free agent has landed as we will provide up-to-the minute coverage, as always, of the NHL and the fantasy impact of each signing.
One bit of strategy when you go into pools. While most teams have veteran coaches, be a bit wary of teams like Edmonton, Calgary, Montreal and Washington as they all have coaches who were signed in the off-season and have not had any on-ice dealings with any of their players. It could take a while for the players to learn the new systems.
We always value your opinion and are glad to welcome you back to the site. Best of luck in all your hockey pools.
