Kimmo Timonen: Zero points in 27:47.

Jakub Voracek: Zero points in 25:37.

Brayden Schenn: 2 points in 24:49.

Mark Streit: 2 points in 24:18.

Wayne Simmondsl: Zero points in 23:48.


The Flyers were 0-13 on the power play and are now struggling at 2-27 this season. Kimmo Timonen saw the most time on the power play at 15:12 minutes.



Mike Ribeiro: 1 point in 20:12 minutes of power play time.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson: 1 point in 18:34.

Radim Vrbata: 2 points in 16:33.

Martin Hanzal: 1 point in 15:33.

Shane Doan: 2 points in 10:42.

Keith Yandle: 1 point in 10:28.


The Coyotes were 3-16 this week and are now 4-20 this season. Doan had a goal and an assist with Ekman-Larsson and Mikkel Boedker scoring as well. Ribeiro, Vrbata, Hanzal, Derek Morris and David Schlemko had assists.  



Evgeni Malkin: 2 points in 16:42 minutes of power play time.

Sidney Crosby: 4 points in 16:37.

Paul Martin: Zero points in 15:04.

Chris Kunitz: 2 points in 13:01.

Jussi Jokinen: 4 points in 11:21.

Matt Niskanen: 1 point in 10:25.


The Penguins were terrific on the power play this week striking five times in 11 chances and are now 5-14 this season. Crosby and Jokinen led the way with two goals and two assists each, while Malkin and Kunitz each had a pair of helpers. Brandon Sutter and rookie Olli Maatta had assists as well.



Kevin Shattenkirk: 3 points in 9:53 minutes of power play time.

Chris Stewart: 1 point in 8:50.

Derek Roy: 4 points in 8:35.

Vladimir Tarasenko: 1point in 8:30.

Alex Pietrangelo: 2 points in 8:28.

Alexander Steen: 2 points in 7:30.

Patrik Berglund: 1 point in 7:23.


The Blues were 3-8 for the second week in a row. As you can see by the ice time above, coach Ken Hitchcock spreads the power play time around. Roy had a goal and an assist with Tarasenko and David Backes also scoring. Shattenkirk had two helpers with Steen, Pietrangelo and T. J. Oshie picking up assists as well.



Dan Boyle: Zero points in 21:41 minutes of power play time.

Joe Pavelski: 2 points in 21:06.

Joe Thornton: Zero points in 21:05.

Patrick Marleau: 2 points in 20:02.

Logan Couture: Zero points in 19:15.

Matt Irwin: 2 points in 14:35.


The Sharks were 3-11 this week and are 5-23 this season.  Marleau, Tomas Hertl and Justin Braun scored while Pavelski, Irwin, Jason Demers, Tyler Kennedy, Tommy Wingels and Matthew Nieto drew assists.



Martin St. Louis: 3 points in 17:41 minutes of power play time.

Steve Stamkos: 2 points in 17:41.

Teddy Purcell: 4 points  in 16:45.

Ryan Malone: 1 point in 15:37.

Sami Salo: 2 points in 12:07.

Valtteri Filppula: 1 point in 12:06.



The Lightning scored a week leading five times this week tying the Penguins for the most goals. They are now 6-19 after getting 13 chances in week two.  Purcell led the way with two goals and an assist while Alex Killorn had one of each. Stamkos and Filppula also scored. St. Louis and Salo chipped in with a couple of assists apiece. Malone, Matt Carle and  Richard Panik also hit the scoresheet with assists.



Dion Phaneuf: 1 point in 24:17 minutes of power play time.

Phil Kessel: 2 points in 22:43.

James van Riemsdyk: 2 points  in 22:20.

Tyler Bozak: 3 points in 21:38.

Cody Franson: 3 points 20:38.

Nazem Kadri: 3 points in 14:10.


The Maple Leafs were 3-9 and are tied for the NHL lead with the Wild at seven goals apiece. They are 7-24 this season. Joffrey Lupul, van Riemsdyk and Bozak scored with Kessel, Phaneuf, Franson, Jake Gardiner, Morgan Rielly and Kadri drawing assists. 



Daniel Sedin: 2 points in 20:53 minutes of power play time.

Henrik Sedin: 2 points in 20:53.

Jason Garrison: 1 point in 20:40.

Ryan Kesler: Zero points in 19:24.

Alexander Edler: 1 point in 17:41.

Dan Hamhuis: Zero points in 12:26.


The Canucks were 0-6 this week and are now 2-19. The Sedin twins are tied in ice time.



Mike Green: 4 points in 21:47 minutes of power play time.

Alex Ovechkin: 5 points in 21:40.

Nicklas Backstrom: 3 points in 18:04.

Troy Brouwer: Zero points in 15:43.

Mikhail Grabovski: 4 points in 15:15.

Joel Ward: 2 points in 5:31.


The Capitals went 0-7 this week after having the best power play in the NHL in week one. They are now 6-19 this season which is tied for third overall behind St. Louis and Pittsburgh.



Dustin Byfuglien: 4 points in 28:15 minutes of power play time.

Tobias Enstrom: 4 points in 27:25

Andrew Ladd: 1 point in 20:21.

Bryan Little: 1 point in 20:47.

Blake Wheeler: 2 points in 20:22.

Mark Scheifele: 1 point in 19:11.



The Jets were 2-14 this week and are now 5-27. Little and Wheeler scored with defensemen Byfuglien and Enstrom setting up both goals.
