Ducks floundering on PP

Monday, November 04, 2013

Looking at the NHL power play stats, it's interesting to note that the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Ottawa Senators are the only teams who have not had a five-on-three advantage this season while the Anaheim Ducks lead with five opportunities but have yet to score.

The Winnipeg Jets are the only perfect team with a two man-advantage, scoring both times, while the Rangers, Nashville, Carolina and Montreal have scored twice in three chances. The New Jersey Devils are the only other team to score twice but that was in four opportunities.

The Flyers only had two seconds with a two-man advantage while the Minnesota Wild are scoreless in four attempts.
