Rookie Scoring

Rookie scoring on the power play is a huge bonus for poolies. There are currently 12 players having rookie status who have four or more points on the power play. Defensemen hold down three of the top four spots.


Torey Krug – 9

Chris Kreider – 6

Seth Jones-5

Nathan MacKinnon- 4

Alex Chiasson- 4

Sean Monahan – 4

Aleksander Barkov – 4

Richard Panik – 4

Sven Baertschi – 4

Filip Forsberg – 4


Krug leads the way with four goals while Gelinas is tops in assists with six. Gelinas is really coming on and is worth picking up in most pools as he is a scoring defenseman.

Corey Perry:  6 points in 112:10 minutes of power play time.

Ryan Getzlaf: 11 points in 105:04.

Cam Fowler: 10 points in 104:13.

Nick Bonino: 10 points in 88:02.

Sami Vatanen: 2 points in 67:15.

Teemu Selanne: 2 points in 58:22.



The Ducks were 3-9 with the man-advantage this week and are 18-108 this season. Perry had two goals with Getzlaf picking up a goal and an assist. Bonino and Fowler each had two helpers with Dustin Penner getting one.



David Krejci: 7 points in 75:00 minutes of power play time.

Jarome Iginla: 2 points in 74:34.

Zdeno Chara: 5 points in 74:09.

Torey Krug: 9 points in 72:53.

Milan Lucic: 6 points in 67:39.

Patrice Bergeron: 2 points in 58:53.


The Bruins were 2-9 this week and are now 15-82 this season. Krug and Carl Soderberg scored with Bergeron, Krejci, Lucic and Reilly Smith drawing the assists.



Christian Ehrhoff: 1 point in 94:38 minutes of power play time.

Cody Hodgson: 8 points in 89:21.

Tyler Ennis: 4 points in 88:46.

Matt Moulson:12 points in 80:24.

Tyler Myers: 4 points in 65:54.

Steve Ott:2 points in 51:45.


The Sabres power play was 0-3 this week and are now 12-86 this season.



Jiri Hudler: 6 points in 101:42 minutes of power play time.

Dennis Wideman: 2 points in 90:36.

Kris Russell: 4 points in 85:47.

Michael Cammalleri: 3 points in 70:33.

David Jones: 1 point in 54:53.

Sean Monahan: 4 points in 53:56.


The Flames were 2-9 and are 14-93 this season. Russell and Mark Giordano scored with T.J. Brodie, Sven Baertschi, Mikael Backlund and Joe Colborne picking up assists.



Eric Staal: 7 points in 112:54 minutes of power play time.

Ryan Murphy: 3 points in 81:04.

Justin Faulk: 4 points in 80:58.

Nathan Gerbe: 5 points in 77:07.

Alexander Semin: 4 points in 75:33.

Andrej Sekera: 5 points in 68:15.


The Hurricanes were 2-10 this week and are now 14-110 on the season. Jeff Skinner was in on both goals with a goal and an assist while Sekera also scored. Eric Staal had two assists with Faulk picking up one.



Patrick Kane: 14 points in 107:59 minutes of power play time.

Patrick Sharp: 10 points in 107:34.

Jonathan Toews: 7 points in 104:33.

Duncan Keith: 8 points in 103:02.

Andrew Shaw: 7 points in 75:08.

Nick Leddy: 5 points in 63:27.


Chicago was 6-14 this week and are 24-104 this season. Sharp had two goals and one assist with Marian Hossa scoring once and adding two helpers. Kris Versteeg, Brent Seabrook and Shaw all had a goal and an assist with Kane assisting on two goals. Keith, Toews, Leddy and Brandon Saad each had one assist.



Andre Benoit: 4 points in 70:08 minutes of power play time.

Ryan O'Reilly: 4 points in 69:51.

Erik Johnson: 2 points in 69:39.

P.A. Parenteau: 2 points in 62:03.

Gabriel Landeskog: 4 points in 61:56.

Matt Duchene: 4 points in 61:09.


The Avs were 0-11 this week and are currently 13-83 this year.



James Wisniewski: 8 points in 85:20 minutes of power play time.

Ryan Johansen: 9 points in 76:46.

Cam Atkinson: 2 points in 73:47.

Jack Johnson: 2 points in 71:09.

R.J. Umberger: 7 points in 70:36.

Artem Anisimov: 2 points in 62:27.


The Blue Jackets were 1-4 this past week and are now 20-97. Nick Foligno scored for the second week in a row with Johansen and Umberger setting him up.



Jamie Benn: 3 points in 96:31 minutes of power play time.

Tyler Seguin: 4 points in91:07.

Alex Chiasson: 4 points in 85:46.

Sergei Gonchar: 5 points in 81:30.

Alex Goligoski: 2 points in 74:28.

Ray Whitney: 2 points in 72:38.


The Stars were 2-11this week and are now 11-97. Chiasson and Shawn Horcoff scored with Goligoski, Whitney, Gonchar and Kevin Connauton drawing assists.



Henrik Zetterberg:11 points in 87:45 minutes of power play time.

Niklas Kronwall: 10 points in 78:26.

Pavel Datsyuk: 7 points in 78:15.

Daniel Alfredsson: 6 points in 67:14.

Todd Bertuzzi: 3 points in 58:09.

Jakub Kindl: 5 points in 57:15.


Detroit was 1-7 this week and are now 19-89 this season. Kronwall had the goal with Johan Franzen and Zetterberg picking up the assists.
