The Stars are Shining in Texas

Monday, March 10, 2014

The Dallas Stars power play moved up a couple of spots this week as they went to 23rd from 25th after going six for 19 with the man-advantage.

A big reason for the improvement has been the acquisition of Tyler Seguin who has 20 points on the power play after just six in the shortened 2012-13 season.

The Stars have a lot of good young players who will be on their power play for years, including Seguin, Jamie Benn and rookie Valeri Nichuskin who will see plenty of time with the man-advantage in the years to come.
