PHILADELPHIA

Claude Giroux: 31 points in 267:39 minutes of power play time.

Jakub Voracek: 20 points in 243:37.

Wayne Simmonds: 22 points in 239:29.

Kimmo Timonen: 17 points in 232:39.

Andrew MacDonald: 11 points in 220:08.

Scott Hartnell: 19 points in 222:29.

 

Philadelphia was 2-12 on the power play and are now 51-256 (T9) this season. Hartnell netted a goal and added a helper with Simmonds picking up the other goal. Voracek assisted on both with Giroux getting one.

 

PHOENIX

Keith Yandle: 29 points in 311:20 minutes of power play time.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson: 19 points in 286:42.

Mike Ribeiro: 15 points in 244:16.

Radim Vrbata: 21 points in 198:10.

Antoine Vermette: 12 points in 172:22.

Martin Hanzal: 13 points in 167:39.

 

The Coyotes were 3-8 this week and are now 52-250 (T3) in 2013-14.  Ekman-Larsson had a goal and two assists with Mikkel Boedker getting one of each. Vrbata also scored with Yandle recording two power-play assists over the course of the week and Hanzal picking up the other.

 

PITTSBURGH

Sidney Crosby: 35 points in 306:46 minutes of power play time.

Evgeni Malkin: 30 points in 274:28.

Chris Kunitz: 21 points in 252:46.

Matt Niskanen: 14 points in 205:20.

James Neal: 21 points in 188:02.

Jussi Jokinen: 18 points in 155:55.

 

Pittsburgh was 4-19 and are now 59-245 (1) this season.  Malkin was in on all four goals with two goals and a pair of assists while Crosby had one goal and two helpers. Neal had one of each with Niskanen and Jokinen recording an assist.

 

ST. LOUIS

Kevin Shattenkirk: 23 points in 229:02 minutes of power play time.

Alex Pietrangelo: 16 points in 196:55.

Alexander Steen: 13 points in 195:43.

T.J. Oshie: 14 points in 190:13.

David Backes: 14 points in 173:45.

Derek Roy: 16 points in 156:54.

 

St. Louis was 1-14 this week and are now 49-246 (T9) this season.  Backes was the goal scorer with Jay Bouwmeester and Ian Cole drawing the assists.

 

SAN JOSE

Joe Thornton: 17 points in 265:43 minutes of power play time.

Patrick Marleau: 19 points in 261:26.

Joe Pavelski: 23 points in 250:25.

Dan Boyle: 15 points in 233:59.

Logan Couture: 12 points in 203:33.

Jason Demers: 9 points in 131:26.

 

San Jose was 2-12 this week and are 41-257 (22) this season.  Marleau had one goal while Martin Havlat scored a rare power play marker. Thornton, Couture, Brent Burns and Matthew Nieto each had one assist.

 

TAMPA BAY

Teddy Purcell: 15 points in 226:44 minutes of power play time.

Valtteri Filppula: 17 points in 209:10.

Tyler Johnson: 10 points in 186:01.

Victor Hedman: 10 points in 146:42.

Alex Killorn: 6 points in 136:05.

Sami Salo: 6 points in 128:01.

 

The Lightning were 6-17 this week to bring them to 41-228 (17) in 2013-14.  Filppula and Steve Stamkos each had two goals and one assist with Johnson and Ryan Callahan, who also had an assist, also scoring.  Ondrej Palat assisted on three goals while Salo had two helpers. Hedman and Purcell had one power play assist apiece.

 

TORONTO

Dion Phaneuf: 11 points in 233:41 minutes of power play time.

Phil Kessel: 20 points in 226:53.

James van Riemsdyk: 15 points in 222:00.

Cody Franson: 17 points 207:59.

Nazem Kadri: 15 points in 162:34.

Joffrey Lupul: 11 points in 155:24.

 

The Maple Leafs were 2-10 this week and are 44-213 (T3) in 2013-14.  Phaneuf led Toronto with a goal and an assist.  Bozak chipped in the Maple Leafs’ other power-play marker.

 

VANCOUVER

Ryan Kesler: 15 points in 241:11 minutes of power play time.

Daniel Sedin: 15 points in 236:05.

Henrik Sedin: 16 points in 225:52.

Jason Garrison: 14 points in 205:19.

Alexander Edler: 10 points in 154:41.

Dan Hamhuis: 3 points in 142:12.

 

Vancouver was 2-5 this week and are now 34-230 (26). Edler had a goal and an assist with Alex Burrows also scoring.  Kevin Bieksa had two power-play assists for the second week in a row with Henrik Sedin picking up one assist.

 

WASHINGTON

Alex Ovechkin: 34 points in 346:07 minutes of power play time.

Nicklas Backstrom: 39 points in 266:40.

Troy Brouwer: 18 points in 248:04.

John Carlson: 17 points in 221:00.

Marcus Johansson: 20 points in 209:54.

Mike Green: 15 points in 181:59.

 

Washington was 2-9 with the man advantage and are now 61-258 (2) this season.  Ovechkin and Brouwer scored with Backstrom continuing to impress with assists on both goals. Johansson and Carlsson each had an assist.

 

WINNIPEG

Dustin Byfuglien: 23 points in 248:13 minutes of power play time.

Tobias Enstrom: 10 points in 242:46.

Andrew Ladd: 11 points in 195:03.

Bryan Little: 12 points in 193:06.

Blake Wheeler: 14 points in 191:13.

Olli Jokinen: 8 points in 132:20.

 

The Jets were 1-5 this week and are now 34-232 (27) this season.  Ladd scored with Wheeler and Enstrom setting him
