Laine has dominated the Stars

Wednesday, February 15, 2017

Patrik Laine is 18 years old and has played in 51 NHL games so far.  Remarkably, he's gotten a hat trick in three of those games.  Laine, in part due to his brief stint on the sidelines, isn't the rookie leader in goals or points, but he has certainly had some amazing showings so far this season.  His latest came Tuesday night when he earned that third hat trick.

He's also already finding a team he particularly likes playing against.  This was his second hat trick against Dallas and his third multi-goal contest versus the Stars.
