Ya Gotta Shoot the Puck

Monday, November 6, 2017

They say you can’t score unless you shoot so I’m going to give you the top players in shots on goal during the power play.

Max Pacioretty and Alex Ovechkin lead the way with 25 shots while Tyler Seguin is third with 23. Evgeni Malkin is the only other player with 20 while Drew Doughty and Shea Weber lead all blueliners with 19 shots apiece. Mika Zibanejad has 18 while Jack Eichel, Roman Josi, John Tavares, Nikita Kucherov and Phil Kessel each have 17.

Eichel is the only player of the group to not score with the man-advantage.

Filip Forsberg is tied for the lead in goals with five but has done it in only 14 shots. Seguin, Zibanejad and Steven Stamkos also have five goals with Stamkos doing it in 15 shots.
