NHL Plays: Wednesday

Wednesday, November 29, 2017

NHL Plays will look at some players to consider adding while building your lineups. Remember to check back on this page later in the day for confirmations on starting goalies and keep an eye on Rotoworld’s daily blurbs for all your fantasy hockey needs.

Keep in mind that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UT).

Tampa Bay will play the second match of their back-to-back situation on Wednesday, while Montreal will play the first match of their back-to-back set.

Editor's Note: Rotoworld’s Season Pass is now available for the low price of $19.99. You get plenty of extra articles including the minor league report, the junior report and much, much more. Buy it now!

Nathan MacKinnon (COL) - C - $6,600 (FanDuel), $6,300 (DraftKings)

MacKinnon and the Avalanche will host the surging Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday. Mark Scheifele will be a popular pick, but you shouldn’t sleep on MacKinnon. He has racked up six goals and 15 assists in his last 12 games and he has 17 points in 10 matches on home ice.

Paul Stastny (STL) - C - $5,500 (FanDuel), $5,000 (DraftKings)

Stastny could be a very good undervalued target for Wednesday night’s slate. The top line of the Blues has accounted for most of the scoring this year, but Stastny has been productive of late with two goals and six assists in his past six outings.

Jaden Schwartz (STL) - W - $7,000 (FanDuel), $6,500 (DraftKings)

Stacking the first line of St. Louis will be a serious salary investment on Wednesday night, but you should at least try to get Schwartz on your roster. He has been held off the scoresheet just five times in 24 appearances this year. Schwartz leads the Blues in goals (13), power-play goals (four) and points (32).

Kyle Connor (WPG) - W - $4,400 (FanDuel), $5,000 (DraftKings)

The price tag for Connor is still too good pass up on FanDuel. He’s starting to get a bit pricier on DraftKings, but there’s plenty of value to be had there as well. Connor has been a great fit alongside Scheifele and Blake Wheeler. He has seven goals and 15 points in 19 games since he was called up from the minors.

Torey Krug (BOS) - D - $5,500 (FanDuel), $4,800 (DraftKings)

Krug has compiled two goals and nine helpers in his last 10 matches. He has amassed 12 assists in 17 games versus Tampa Bay in his career. Krug has more points against only one team and that’s the Ottawa Senators (13 points in 16 contests).

Probable Goaltenders:

Tampa Bay (Andrei Vasilevskiy) Confirmed @ Boston (Tuukka Rask) Confirmed

Ottawa (Mike Condon) Confirmed @ Montreal (Carey Price) Confirmed

Anaheim (John Gibson) Confirmed @ St. Louis (Jake Allen) Confirmed

Winnipeg (Connor Hellebuyck) Confirmed @ Colorado (Semyon Varlamov) Confirmed
