Maple Leafs Perfect on the PP

The Toronto Maple Leafs spent only 3:33 on the power play this week in two games. They had four chances and converted on all four.


It was a great week for the Blue and White with Mitch Marner leading the way with a goal and two assists.


The Boston Bruins were the other team that had a fabulous week as they converted six-of-14 chances, even without the services of Patrice Bergeron who is out with a fracture in his foot.

Corey Perry: 9 points in 169:58.

Cam Fowler: 11 points in 150:33.

Brandon Montour: 10 points in 146:29.

Jakob Silfverberg: 8 points in 125:22.

Ryan Getzlaf: 11 points in 123:48.


The Ducks were 1-6 this week and are 33-184 this season. Adam Henrique scored with Rakell and Getzlaf assisting on the goal.



Oliver Ekman-Larsson: 13 points in 215:46 minutes of power play time. Clayton Keller: 16 points in 212:13.

Max Domi: 9 points in 185:22.

Derek Stepan: 14 points in 179:18.

Christian Fischer: 8 points in 152:47.  

Alex Goligoski: 9 points in 126:24.


The Coyotes were 2-11 this week and are 35-206 this season. Keller and Ekman-Larsson each had a goal and an assist with Brendan Perlini and Stepan drawing the assists.



Torey Krug: 17 points in 216:28 minutes of power play time.

David Pastrnak: 19 points in 208:18.

Patrice Bergeron: 17 points in 165:06.

Brad Marchand:  17 points in 164:54.

Danton Heinen: 10 points in 134:57.

Charlie McAvoy: 7 points in 117:52.


The Bruins were 6-14 this week and are 47-214 in 2017-18. David Krejci scored twice Krug and Marchand each getting a goal and two assists. Brian Gionta had a goal and an assist with Rick Nash scoring once. Jake DeBrusk had three assists with Pastrnak picking up two. Nick Holden and Matt Grzelcyk each drew an assist.




Ryan O'Reilly: 15 points in 236:13 minutes of power play time.

Kyle Okposo: 15 points in 214:20.

Sam Reinhart: 12 points in 214:19.

Rasmus Ristolainen: 17 points in 211:23.

Jack Eichel: 13 points in 195:36.

Jason Pominville: 5 points in 134:38.


The Sabres were 1-10 this week and are 35-208 this season. Reinhart scored with Okposo and Ristolainen drawing the assists.



Johnny Gaudreau: 24 points in 257:37 minutes of power play time.

Sean Monahan: 19 points in 255:31.

Mark Giordano: 10 points in 223:09.

Matthew Tkachuk: 16 points in 202:36.

Dougie Hamilton: 13 points in 186:01.

T.J. Brodie: 11 points in 181:30.


The Flames were 1-10 this week and are 42-238 this season. Hamilton scored with Gaudreau and Giordano drawing the assists.



Justin Faulk: 15 points in 205:34 minutes of power play time.

Teuvo Teravainen: 18 points in 189:19.

Elias Lindholm: 9 points in 183:31.

Sebastian Aho: 13 points in 179:19.

Jordan Staal: 11 points in 175:18.

Justin Williams: 12 points in 148:07.


The Hurricanes were 2-5 this week and are 40-208 this season. Derek Ryan and Aho scored with Teravainen, Victor Rask, Noah Hanifin and Lindholm picking up the assists.

Jonathan Toews: 11 points in 223:35.

Duncan Keith: 8 points in 196:25.

Nick Schmaltz: 12 points in 188:23.

Artem Anisimov: 12 points in 172:16.

Brandon Saad: 1 point in 159:44.


Chicago was 2-11 this week and are 39-245 this season. Kane and Anisimov both scored on Sunday with Toews and Erik Gustafsson assisting on both goals.

Gabriel Landeskog: 14 points in 230:18.

Nathan MacKinnon: 28 points in 217:44.

Tyson Barrie: 23 points in 203:31.

Alexander Kerfoot: 14 points in 174:26.

The Avs were 3-11 this week and are 52-254 on the season. MacKinnon and Landeskog each had a goal and an assist. Tyson Jost also scored with Barrie and Rantanen assisting on two goals apiece.

Seth Jones: 15 points in 184:38.

Zach Werenski: 10 points in 166:24.

Nick Foligno: 3 points in 161:15.

Cam Atkinson: 5 points in 147:56.

The Blue Jackets were 1-9 this week and are 28-193 in 2017-18. Werenski scored with Jones and Pierre-Luc Dubois each picking up an assist.

The Stars were 4-14 this week and are 42-212 this season. Seguin had a goal and three assists with Benn and Radulov getting one of each. Shore also scored with Klingberg picking up two assists while Spezza had one.
