Matt Kenseth wins the Coors Light Pole Award for the O'Reilly Challenge with a lap of 28.846 seconds, 187.201 mph.
This is the No. 16 CitiFinancial Ford driver's 16th pole in 242 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. It is his second pole and 10th top-10 start in 2009. Kurt Busch leads the first practice for the November 22nd Sprint Cup Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Busch’s lap of 173.433 mph in the No. 2 Dodge was the quickest of the 48 cars out on the track for the first practice session. No. 42 Juan Pablo Montoya, No. 33 Clint Bowyer, No. 39 Ryan Newman and No. 20 Joey Logano were the rest of the top 5 on the speed chart. No. 08 Terry Labonte, at 164.564 mph, was the slowest.
