Trade rumors swirl around Salmons, Miller
Salmons
The Sacramento Bee suggests the Kings are most likely to trade Brad Miller or John Salmons.
The Blazers reportedly offered a draft pick and Raef LaFrentz's expiring contract in exchange for Salmons, while Miami has offered Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks for Miller and Kenny Thomas. Nothing is imminent, but it would be shocking if Sacramento stays pat through the trade deadline. Jan. 27 - 8:57 am et

Mehmet Okur out again w/ flu-like symptoms
Okur
Mehmet Okur will sit out again on Saturday because of flu-like symptoms.
Okur felt had been feeling better, but he left the arena before shootaround and remains day-to-day. Kyrylo Fesenko will get another start at center, but Paul Millsap will be asked to do the heavy lifting. Nov. 21 - 12:59 pm et

T-Mac thinks he's ready, Rockets disagree
McGrady
Tracy McGrady (knee surgery) says that he's ready to return to action, but the Rockets disagree.
"He wants to play," said coach Rick Adelman. "He's not ready to play. It's as simple as that." According to the Houston Chronicle, McGrady believes owner Leslie Alexander would rather collect insurance on his $23.3 million contract than see him on the court (an insinuation that greatly upset Alexander). McGrady will have an MRI on his knee this Monday, which could set a firm timetable. Nov. 21 - 12:55 pm et

Larry Hughes to start for Knicks on Saturday
Larry Hughes will start at SG for the Knicks on Saturday, replacing Toney Douglas.
Hughes went off on Wednesday, posting 22 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and a block, and he looks like he'll hold his value now that New York won't sign Allen Iverson. Nov. 21 - 12:36 pm et

Devin Harris to come off bench on Saturday
Harris
Devin Harris (groin) will come off the bench against the Knicks on Saturday.
There are no restrictions on his minutes, but the Nets don't want to push him too hard in his first game back from a nagging groin injury. He'll obviously improve the short-handed, winless Nets (0-12), though his return crushes the fantasy value of fill-in starter Rafer Alston. Nov. 21 - 10:25 am et

Ellis plays serious D in win over Blazers
Ellis
Monta Ellis had a huge game in Friday's win over the Blazers, playing all 48 minutes and hitting 13-of-28 shots and a 3-pointer on his way to 34 points, two rebounds, eight assists, six steals and two blocks.
He was a beast tonight and despite the constant rumors about him being unhappy and wanting to be traded, should remain in all fantasy lineups until further notice. Nov. 21 - 1:41 am et
Rudy scores 19 w/ three 3-pointers in loss
Fernandez
Rudy Fernandez hit 6-of-11 shots and three 3-pointers for 19 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals in Friday's loss to the Warriors.
Yes, it was against the Warriors, but Rudy looked good tonight and got a ton of minutes (38). We have been preaching owners to pick him up, and this is why. Nov. 21 - 1:35 am et
Jennings lights it up again in another win
Jennings
Brandon Jennings got hot early to finish with 29 points, four rebounds, seven assists, a steal and three 3-pointers on 12-of-23 shooting as the Bucks improved to 7-3 for their best start since 2001.
They're 5-1 at home, but are ready to embark on a road trip. Jennings has been fantastic and coach Scott Skiles said he possibly has had the best 10-game start to his career as any rookie in history. He struggles with turnovers, but had just two tonight, and is an excellent sell-high candidate right now. Then again, he could do this all year, even when Michael Redd returns from a knee injury. Nov. 21 - 1:19 am et
Ty Evans drops 29 in loss to Dallas
Tyreke Evans had 29 points, seven rebounds and a career-high 10 assists in a tough loss to the Mavericks on Friday.
Evans hit 13-of-21 shots and added a steal, a block and two 3-pointers on the night, and has scored at least 20 points in six straight games. Brandon Jennings is leading the ROY attack, but Evans should not be discounted. It will be interesting to see what he does when Kevin Martin returns, but we don't have to think about that for another month or so. Nov. 21 - 1:04 am et
 Smith's game-winner pushes Hawks to 11-2
Smith
Josh Smith had just nine points, but added eight rebounds, three assists and four more blocks on 3-of-7 shooting in Friday's exciting win over the Rockets.
Smoov's put back dunk with 0.7 seconds remaining won the game for the Hawks, who are now 7-0 at home and a league-best 11-2 overall. Smith is on pace to lead the league in blocks and is putting up monster fantasy stats, despite tonight's quiet line. Nov. 20 - 11:23 pm et
