Matthew Stafford threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns on 22-of-42 passing in Week 9, but was picked off five times as the Lions fell to Seattle 32-20, and a 1-7 record for the season.
Stafford started hot, throwing darts and engineering a 17-point first-quarter lead. The rookie completely tanked after that, however, struggling badly with his accuracy and not getting the football to Calvin Johnson. Stafford's body language certainly wasn't that of a poised leader. He still has a promising future, but has flopped in back-to-back matchups against awful secondaries (also St. Louis in Week 8). Nov. 8 - 7:26 pm et |
