Brayden Schenn is eventually expected to be a leader on the Kings.
LA General Manager Dean Lombardi had this to say about the Kings' first round selection, "He needs to work on his skating, but his hockey sense is top-notch. He has the ability to make those small, smart, little plays and has no fear going into traffic. He's a real competitor, and I think he's got a chance to grow into some leadership." We suspect that Schenn will have a difficult time breaking camp with the Kings this upcoming season. However he is likely not that far away from making his mark in the NHL. Schenn could be a fantasy factor as early as the 2010-11 campaign. Jun. 27 - 7:58 am et Source: LA Times |
