Sheldon Souray (concussion) is getting very close to being able to start skating again.
Souray suffered the concussion on Oct. 8 and has been able to work out on the stationary bike for almost two weeks. "As far as I know he's getting closer," coach Pat Quinn said. "Apparently they did a test the other day and I had heard he's scheduled to skate. Not with us, by himself, but that's a first step. The test he did three or four days ago, apparently the numbers are more near normal, or at normal, so we're at the point where he can start workouts." That is great news for Souray owners. Stay tuned as he could return before the end of the month if he continues to progress. Nov. 5 - 7:28 am et Source: Edmonton Sun |
