 Henrik Lundqvist won't play Saturday

Henrik Lundqvist will not play on Saturday due to an undisclosed injury.
Rangers coach John Tortorella, who previously stated that Lundqvist would play between the pipes Saturday, now thinks his starting goaltender needs some rest. Tortorella wouldn't provide any details beyond that, but this could be related to a nagging upper thigh/groin that Lundqvist has been battling. Lundqvist spent more than an hour Saturday receiving treatment, but he seemed pretty confident that he could play on Thursday. "It's just a minor little thing that's been bugging me, so it's a good time to get a break, we're not playing til Thursday, so a couple days off here and be good to go," Lundqvist said.  NHL suspends Neal for two games
The NHL has suspended James Neal for two games for hitting Columbus forward Derek Dorsett from behind on Thursday night.
Neal was given a five-minute major for boarding and a game misconduct in the contest for the infraction. He leads the Stars with 11 goals and 22 points in 19 games this season. Neal will eligible to return on Wednesday November 25th. Nov. 20 - 4:22 pm et

 Donovan may miss remainder of season
Shean Donovan may be out for the rest of the season after sustaining a knee injury on Thursday against Pittsburgh.
"It's his MCL (medial collateral ligament) for sure and he's having an MRI to see if it's the ACL (anterior cruciate ligament), too. We won't know until tomorrow," said Senators' GM Bryan Murray.  Comrie suffering from mononucleosis
Mike Comrie has been diagnosed with mononucleosis.
Well this makes a lot more sense as Comrie has been ill for a month with what started out as the flu. "They think this has been going on for a couple of weeks, it's maybe one of the reasons his (decreased) energy and production becomes more explained," coach Pat Quinn said. "It has has to run its course. It's one of those viruses you don't play with. It'll run its course and they'll continue to test him until the virus is pushed out."  Ruutu sets up four goals in 6-5 SO win
Tuomo Ruutu amassed four assists in a 6-5 shootout win over Toronto on Thursday.

 Kovalev headed to Russia for funeral
Alexei Kovalev will go back to Russia after Thursday's game for the funeral of his mother-in-law.

 Gonchar to play on Thursday
Gonchar
Sergei Gonchar (wrist) will be back in the Pittsburgh lineup on Thursday.
Gonchar has missed the last 12 games with the broken wrist and his return can't come soon enough for the Penguins who have been decimated on the blue line.  Kotalik moves to the top line in New York
Ales Kotalik is now playing on the top line with the Rangers.
He joins Marian Gaborik and Vaclav Prospal as Enver Lisin, who had gone the last eight games without a point, moves down to the second line with Christopher Higgins and Pierre Parenteau. The bottom two lines in practice were Sean Avery, Artem Anisimov and Ryan Callahan; Donald Brashear, Brian Boyle and Aaron Voros.  D. Sedin looking to Sunday return
Sedin
Daniel Sedin (broken foot) is targeting Sunday for his return.
Sedin broke his foot on October 7th and it was thought at the time he would be out for 4-6 weeks. He has had a setback earlier and is now at the six week mark, so Sunday's return seems reasonable barring another setback. Sedin is looking to practice on Thursday after skating by himself on Wednesday. Get him in your lineup for next week if you have weekly moves as Sedin is a top scorer in the NHL, averaging around a point a game. Nov. 19 - 10:51 am et
