Jarome Iginla was named the NHL's First Star of the week.
Iginla scored four goals and nine points in 12 games in October, but coach Brent Sutter thought he could do better. "(We) sat down and talked about some things," Sutter said. "He's finding his way here and he's being rewarded for it right now. It's huge whenever you can have your captain play like that. It's very, very important." Iginla has responded to Sutter's challenge by scoring four goals and five points in his last three games. Nov. 9 - 12:48 pm et Source: NHL.com |
