 Cam Ward has been released from the hospital

Cam Ward (leg) was released from the hospital Monday morning.
Ward had been in Riverside Methodist Hospital since his leg was accidentally slashed by Coluimbus' Rick Nash on Saturday. He's expected to miss about a month with a lacerated thigh. Nov. 9 - 5:58 pm et

Ray Emery stopped just 23 of the 29 shots he faced in the Flyers 6-3 loss to the Sharks on Friday.

Claude Giroux scored twice and added a helper in the Flyers 6-3 loss to the Avalanche Friday night.

 Heatley nets the trick
Dany Heatley found the back of the net three times in San Jose's 6-3 victory against the Flyers Friday.
The three goals gives Heatley 17 goals on the season. Joe Thornton also had a great night assisting on four San Jose goals. Patrick Marleau, Ryan Clowe and Manny Malholtra rounded out the rest of San Jose's scoring. Nov. 21 - 1:15 am et

Craig Anderson only turned aside 22 of the 27 shots he faced in Colorado's 5-2 loss to the Canucks.

Roberto Luongo made 22 saves for the 5-2 victory against Colorado Friday.
Luongo played sharp after allowing the first two goals of the game shutting down the Av's for the remainder of the game. His record improves to 8-7-0 on the year. Nov. 21 - 12:53 am et
 Ehrhoff nets two in the win
Christian Ehrhoff had two goals and an assist in the Canucks 5-2 victory over the Avalanche Friday night.

 NHL suspends Neal for two games
The NHL has suspended James Neal for two games for hitting Columbus forward Derek Dorsett from behind on Thursday night.
Neal was given a five-minute major for boarding and a game misconduct in the contest for the infraction. He leads the Stars with 11 goals and 22 points in 19 games this season. Neal will eligible to return on Wednesday November 25th. Nov. 20 - 4:22 pm et
