 Getzlaf is day-to-day with ankle injury

Ryan Getzlaf is listed as day-to-day with an ankle injury.
His MRI on Tuesday was encouraging in that it did not reveal any significant ligament damage or tears. Getzlaf is hopeful he will alright to play in the Olympics, but it remains to be seen if he will end up playing in any Anaheim's games prior to donning the Team Canada colors. Stay tuned for updates.  Stars acquire Lehtonen from Atlanta
Kari Lehtonen has been traded to the Dallas stars for defenseman Ivan Vishnevskiy and a fourth-round draft pick in the 2010 draft.
Lehtonen had just rejoined the Thrashers after a conditioning stint in the minors when the deal went down. He has not played in a game yet this season due to back surgery. Now the Stars have a crowded crease with three netminders. Lehtonen, Marty Turco and Alex Auld will be competing for ice time until the team can work out another possible trade. Stay tuned. Patrick Kane scored two goals in Chicago's 4-3 shootout win over the Dallas Stars Tuesday night.

Paul Kariya had two goals in the Blues 4-3 shootout win over the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday night.

Mark Streit had a goal and an assist in the Islanders 4-3 shootout win over the Nashville Predators Tuesday night.
It was Streit's first points in seven games. He now has 31 points in 59 games this season. It's been a relatively disappointing season for Streit owners, after the veteran defenseman had a combined 118 points the last two seasons. John Tavares had the shootout winner for the Islanders. Matt Cullen had one goal and two assists in the Hurricanes 4-1 win over the Florida Panthers Tuesday night.

 Rumor: Lehtonen headed to Dallas
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that Kari Lehtonen may be traded to Dallas.
