 GM: Price for Heatley just went up
Ottawa GM Bryan Murray told reporters that the price for Dany Heatley just went up.
Heatley was given his $4 million bonus Wednesday night and the Senators would want more back in a trade with that payment gone through. Heatley officially nixed a deal to the Oilers Wednesday, which would have seen Andrew Cogliano, Ladislav Smid and Dustin Penner coming back to Ottawa for the sniper. "It's different now and I don't know whether or not we'll continue," Murray said, hinting that they may stop shopping him. Although it is hard to imagine Heatley in a Senators uniform next season, knowing that he wants out and all his teammates knowing the same thing - it would be an awful distraction. With the big fish in free agency all signed - Marian Hossa, Marian Gaborik and Martin Havlat - teams that missed out on those may look at Heatley in the next few weeks. Jul. 2 - 12:40 pm et

 Stars acquire Lehtonen from Atlanta
Kari Lehtonen has been traded to the Dallas stars for defenseman Ivan Vishnevskiy and a fourth-round draft pick in the 2010 draft.
Lehtonen had just rejoined the Thrashers after a conditioning stint in the minors when the deal went down. He has not played in a game yet this season due to back surgery. Now the Stars have a crowded crease with three netminders. Lehtonen, Marty Turco and Alex Auld will be competing for ice time until the team can work out another possible trade. Stay tuned.  Kane scores twice in win over Stars

Patrick Kane scored two goals in Chicago's 4-3 shootout win over the Dallas Stars Tuesday night.

 Kariya scores twice in win over Red Wings
Kariya
Paul Kariya had two goals in the Blues 4-3 shootout win over the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday night.
He also fired a game high seven shots on goal. Kariya is having one of the worst seasons of his impressive career, but hopefully this performance is the beginning of a turnaround for the Vancouver native. Andy McDonald scored the other goal for St. Louis. Feb. 9 - 11:10 pm et

Jason Spezza scored a goal and added an assist in the Senators 3-2 win over the Calgary Flames Tuesday night.

 St.Louis has three points in win over Canucks
Martin St.Louis had two goals and an assist in Tampa Bay's 3-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks Tuesday night.

 Streit with two points in win over Nashville

Mark Streit had a goal and an assist in the Islanders 4-3 shootout win over the Nashville Predators Tuesday night.
It was Streit's first points in seven games. He now has 31 points in 59 games this season. It's been a relatively disappointing season for Streit owners, after the veteran defenseman had a combined 118 points the last two seasons. John Tavares had the shootout winner for the Islanders.  Cullen has three points in win over Panthers
Matt Cullen had one goal and two assists in the Hurricanes 4-1 win over the Florida Panthers Tuesday night.

 Rumor: Lehtonen headed to Dallas
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that Kari Lehtonen may be traded to Dallas.

 Getzlaf may be alright to play this weekend

Ryan Getzlaf is hopeful he will be able to return to the Ducks' lineup this weekend from an ankle injury he suffered on Monday.
"We're definitely hopeful for the weekend and see how things go from here," he said after feeling better Tuesday morning. "I'll probably know a little bit more tomorrow."
