Marty Turco has a lot to prove next season after a disastrous 2008-09 campaign.
"It's a huge year for me in a lot of regards," he said. "But, honestly, the thing that is most important for me – like I think it is for every player on the team – is that I want to prove last season was a fluke. I want to prove that we are a much better team than we showed." Turco's contract with the Stars expires after next year and the pressure will be placed on his shoulders to reestablish himself as one of the league's top goalies. He earned a 33-31-10 record last campaign, with a 2.81 GAA and an .898 save percentage. Jul. 6 - 8:58 am et Source: Dallas Morning News |
