Rotoworld’s Anthony Ballantoni suggests drivers outside the Top 15 in points for the Ford 400 in Homestead, Florida.

    David Stremme’s qualifying lap not good enough to make field for the November 22nd Sprint Cup Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
    Stremme spun his No. 09 Chevrolet and never completed a qualifying lap. He will miss Sunday’s race.
     Max Papis-Germain Racing-13Nov. 20 - 5:30 pm et
    Max Papis failed to make the field for the November 22nd Sprint Cup Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
    Papis, one of the ‘go-or-go-homers’ required to qualify on speed, ran a 46th fastest lap of 168.529 mph in the No. 13 Toyota. This was not good enough to make the 43-car field.
     Mike Skinner-TRG Motorsports-70Nov. 20 - 5:27 pm et
    Mike Skinner will miss the November 22nd Sprint Cup Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
    The team is outside the top 35 in owners points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s Cup race. The No. 70 Chevrolet driver’s qualifying speed of 168.660 mph, 45th fastest, was not good enough to make the cut for the event.
     Dave Blaney-Prism Motorsports-66Nov. 20 - 5:25 pm et
    Dave Blaney failed to make the field for the November 22nd Sprint Cup Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
    Blaney, one of the ‘go-or-go-homers’ required to qualify on speed, ran a 44th fastest lap of 168.940 mph in the No. 66 Toyota. This was not good enough to make the 43-car field.
     Joe Nemechek-NEMCO Motosports-87Nov. 20 - 5:23 pm et
    Joe Nemechek’s qualifying speed was not good enough to make the field for the November 22nd Sprint Cup Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
    Nemechek ran a lap of 170.708 mph in the No. 87 Toyota. It was 30th quickest. Since the team is outside the top 35 in owners points and required to qualify on speed, he did not make the cut.
     Travis Kvapil-Front Row Motorsports-37Nov. 20 - 5:18 pm et
    Travis Kvapil secures the last qualifying slot open to teams outside of the top 35 in owners points for the Homestead Sprint Cup race.
    Kvapil’s lap of 170.805 mph in the No. 37 Chevrolet was 28th fastest in qualifying for Sunday’s Sprint Cup Ford 400.
     Scott Speed-Red Bull Racing-82Nov. 20 - 5:15 pm et
    Scott Speed runs quickest Homestead qualifying lap of drivers required to make the field on time.
    Of the drivers outside of the top 35 in owners points, Speed’s lap of 172.695 mph in the No. 82 Toyota was the fastest. His qualifying speed puts him 2nd in the lineup for Sunday’s Sprint Cup Ford 400.
