Army head coach Rich Ellerson confirmed that Chip Bowden will remain the starting quarterback this fall.
Don't look for huge numbers to be posted by Bowden.

Army has hired Rich Ellerson as its next head coach. Ellerson was previously the head coach at Cal Poly for the last eight years.
Cal Poly's triple option offense led all Division 1-AA teams in yards per game with 487.5 and points scored per game with 44.4. The Mustangs also took Wisconsin to overtime, putting up 35 points in the loss.
 Collin Mooney - FBDec. 6 - 6:15 pm et
Fullback Colling Mooney set an Army single-season rushing record finishing the year with 1340 yards on the ground. Mooney accomplished the feat on the last carry of the game in the loss to Navy.
Mooney, who finished with 55 yards rushing on the day, broke Mike Mayweather's record set in 1990.

Bobby Ross has retired as Army's head coach and will be replaced by offensive line coach Stan Brock.
Ross had a 9-25 record in three seasons at Army and was 0-3 against Navy.
 David Pevoto - QBMay. 18 - 3:31 pm et
David Pevoto will start the season as the No. 1 quarterback, but he could be pushed by incoming freshman Carson Williams.
Pevoto is a fleet runner and has a good arm, but Williams is the type of recruit the Army football team rarely gets. He turned down offers from Arkansas and N.C. State to play for the Black Knights.
