 Kellen Moore - QBJan. 25 - 2:00 pm et
It's looking likely that Boise and Virginia Tech will face off in Washington D.C. on Labor Day evening in a made-for-television tilt.
This will be a clash between two of the nation's top programs, and it was originally scheduled to be played in early October.

 Austin Pettis - WRJan. 4 - 8:45 am et
Boise State wide receivers Austin Pettis (fractured ankle) and Tyler Shoemaker (hernia) are expected to see some playing time against TCU in the Fiesta Bowl.  “(Pettis is) still working through it,” Boise coach Chris Petersen said. “But he’ll be a factor somehow, some way.”
We don't expect Pettis to be regular in the rotation, but you never know what kind of tricks Peterson has up his sleeve. Pettis could also be a factor in the red zone.

 Austin Pettis - WRDec. 28 - 6:00 pm et
Boise State coach Chris Peterson deemed wide receiver Austin Pettis (leg) "a game-time decision" for the Fiesta Bowl against TCU.
Peterson said the team's top passing threat is "right on track" but has a ways to go. Our guess has Pettis playing, though he's a very risky start at less than 100% and going against a great TCU defense.

 Kellen Moore - QBDec. 7 - 10:45 am et
TCU and Boise State will play in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 4 at 8 p.m.
This is a rematch of last year's Poinsettia Bowl which TCU won 17-16.  With another year under center for Boise's Kellen Moore and TCU's Andy Dalton, will this be another defensive grudge match?  With the firepower on both offenses, look for this one to open up a little more than last year's game.

 Doug Martin - RBDec. 5 - 9:30 pm et
Boise State running back Doug Martin carried eight times for 81 yards and four scores in a win over New Mexico State.
It's usually anyone's guess who shoulders the load for the Broncos between Martin and Jeremy Avery.  Boise's potential BCS game against a TBD opponent may be one of the most interesting matchups of the post season.

 Austin Pettis - WRDec. 1 - 6:00 am et
Boise State wide receiver Austin Pettis will miss the season finale against New Mexico State due to fracture in his lower leg.  Pettis may be able to return for a bowl game.
With Pettis out, Titus Young will become even more of a focal point for the passing game.

 Austin Pettis - WRNov. 28 - 11:00 am et
Boise State wide receiver Austin Pettis failed to record a catch before leaving early in Friday night's game against Nevada after a botched 2pt attempt.
Trainers were seen working on Pettis' leg on the sideline, but no word this morning as to the nature of the injury.  He was in street clothes and on crutches in the second half. Obviously, we'll let you know more when we know more.  Quite a disappointing fantasy finish for Pettis, who scored in every game until last week, and then failed to catch anything in what is most owners last fantasy game of the season.

 Kellen Moore - QBNov. 28 - 11:00 am et
Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore threw for 262 yards and five touchdowns as the Broncos defeated Nevada Friday night.
Moore's yardage numbers haven't been huge, but he has a ridiculous 38 touchdowns and just three interceptions this season. Just one game remains between Boise and a perfect season, then we'll see if the BCS allows Boise into a big time matchup.

 Doug Martin - RBNov. 21 - 11:00 pm et
Boise State running backs Doug Martin and Jeremy Avery both ran for over 100 yards and multiple scores in Friday's win over Utah State.
Martin led the way with 121 yards and four scores, while Avery had a cool 116 and two touchdowns as the Broncos ran for 323 yards in the contest.  Boise appears to be able to pick their poison on offense, but I'd expect to see more scoring balance next week against Nevada.

 Austin Pettis - WRNov. 21 - 11:00 pm et
Boise State wide receiver Austin Pettis had just four catches for 69 yards Friday night at Utah State.
This was the first game all season where Pettis didn't reach the end zone.  He'll look to start a new streak next week in a showdown with Nevada

 Matt Kaiserman - RBNov. 16 - 9:30 pm et
Boise State tight end Richie Brockel (foot) and running back Matt Kaiserman (broken leg) will miss the rest of the season.
Brockel was the Broncos starting tight end, Kaiserman their third string running back.

 Kellen Moore - QBNov. 16 - 4:00 pm et
With a five touchdown performance against Idaho on Saturday, Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore has officially entered the Heisman Trophy discussion.
Moore leads the FBS in passer efficiency rating at 171.91 and also has an amazing 10.67 TD/INT ratio this season.

 Kellen Moore - QBNov. 14 - 8:15 pm et
Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore threw for 299 yards and five touchdowns against Idaho.  Austin Pettis was on the receiving end of four of those scores.
Pettis finished with eight grabs for 123 yards, and he keeps his scoring streak alive.  Titus Young also scored and eclipsed the century mark, hauling in six balls for 101 yards.  Only a road trip to Utah State is between Boise and a showdown against Nevada.

 Jeremy Avery - RBNov. 6 - 11:45 pm et
Boise State running back Jeremy Avery carried 25 times for a 145 yards and a touchdown against Louisiana Tech.
Avery was solid yet unspectacular until a late 43 yard scamper to the end zone, shedding tackles on his way in.  Remarkably, this was only Avery's second touchdown this season.  Doug Martin registered just two yards on four carries.

 Austin Pettis - WRNov. 6 - 11:45 pm et
Boise State wide receivers Austin Pettis and Titus Young both went over the century mark tonight against Louisiana Tech.  They also both reached the endzone.
Young finished with 110 yards on eight catches while Pettis grabbed nine balls for 104 yards.  Pettis has now reached the endzone in every game this season, a streak unlikely to be halted next week against the Vandals of Idaho.

 Kellen Moore - QBNov. 6 - 11:45 pm et
Quarterback Kellen Moore threw for 354 yards and three touchdowns at Louisiana Tech.
Moore did most of his damage in the first half, but found WR Austin Pettis in the enzone in the third quarter when the game got tight.  Moore is now up to 27 touchdown passes on the year, and has had at least two in every game except the opener against Oregon. Feel free to enjoy another three scores next week in what should be a shootout against Idaho.

 Jeremy Avery - RBNov. 5 - 8:30 pm et
The Idaho Statesman reports that we can expect to see Jeremy Avery and Doug Martin receive the majority of Boise State carries against Louisiana Tech this weekend.
Freshman Matt Kaiserman was impressive spelling Martin while he recovered from his hip injury, though it now sounds like the staff will ride their top two Broncos.

 Mitch Burroughs - WRNov. 3 - 11:30 am et
Boise State freshman wide receiver Mitch Burroughs caught his first career touchdown in the win over San Jose State, and coach Chris Peterson saw it coming.  He tells the Idaho Statesman that "we've known he's been ready for awhile."
As quarterback Kellen Moore continues to blossom into a top-flight college fantasy quarterback, owners will want to take note of the young and talented Burroughs.

 Kellen Moore - QBNov. 1 - 12:15 am et
Quarterback Kellen Moore led Boise State to another win tonight over San Jose St., throwing for three touchdowns and 278 yards.
The Broncos show no signs of slowing down, though next week's game at Louisiana Tech looks somewhat interesting.  Start Moore with a rare guarded optimism.

 Doug Martin - RBOct. 29 - 10:45 pm et
Boise State running back Doug Martin (pulled muscle) missed last week's game with Hawaii, though the Idaho Statesman reports that he'll play this Saturday against San Jose State.
Boise is going to run the ball well against San Jose State, though the presence of Jeremy Avery and the emergence of freshman Matt Kaiserman make it difficult to recommend Martin with confidence.
