Central Michigan Chippewas Tickets

 Dan LeFevour - QBFeb. 8 - 9:32 am et
Central Michigan announced its nonconference schedule for 2010, and it won't be easy. The Chippewas will have road games against Northwestern, Virginia Tech and Navy.
It would be great to see Dan LeFevour battle this slate; alas, he will be playing on Sundays. Thus a young squad will have to make three difficult trips, and shrewd drafters should consider this before investing in any Chip.

 Antonio Brown - WRJan. 8 - 12:15 pm et
Central Michigan wide receiver Antonio Brown will indeed forgo his senior season and enter the NFL Draft.
Brown and quarterback Dan LeFevour teamed up to torture many secondaries together, thus it's fitting they move on at the same time.

 Antonio Brown - WRJan. 7 - 2:45 pm et
Central Michigan junior wide receiver Antonio Brown is giving serious thought to declaring for the NFL Draft, though he tells Central Michigan Life that he'll wait until after the Chippewas decide on their new coach.
The fact that Brown is coming off a monster game and season is one thing, but when you factor in Dan LeFevour's departure from Mount Pleasant, it wouldn't surprise us to see Brown make a move.

Rivals.com is reporting that Cincinnati has hired Central Michigan head coach Butch Jones.
This will be the second time in four years that the Bearcats have hired CMU's head coach away.  We can only assume that Jones won't be coaching the Chips during the Chips during the GMAC Bowl vs. Troy on Jan. 6.  The coaching shakeup donwngrades the fantasy value of CMU quarterback Dan LeFevour as well as receivers Antonio Brown and Bryan Anderson.

Several sources are reporting that Marshall is after Central Michigan head coach Butch Jones.
Moving from Central to Marshall doesn't seem like an upgrade.  But in this business, just like any other, money talks and according the Morning Sun, Marshall is offering Davis a contract worth nearly $650,000 in base salary and incentives.

 Dan LeFevour - QBDec. 7 - 10:45 am et
Central Michigan and Troy will play in the GMAC Bowl in Mobile, Alabama on Jan. 6 at 7 p.m.
Both teams were perfect in conference play.  The Chips are led by quarterback Dan LeFevour and wide receivers Antonio Brown and Bryan Anderson.  Troy will look to counter with quarterback Levi Brown and a balanced ground game.

 Dan LeFevour - QBDec. 5 - 8:45 pm et
Central Michigan quaterback Dan LeFevour threw for two touchdowns in a MAC Championship game against Ohio, giving him 148 total touchdowns for his career, a new NCAA record.
He finished the night with 255 yards passing and another 51 rushing.  The record-breaking score came to fellow record breaker WR Bryan Anderson. Both will look to pad their records, presumably in the GMAC Bowl, and make solid options in the bowl challenge.

 Bryan Anderson - WRDec. 5 - 9:15 am et
Central Michigan wide receiver Bryan Anderson caught seven balls for 54 yards and a score as the Chips won the MAC title against Ohio.
53 and counting for Mr. Anderson.  A bowl game awaits as Anderson continues to improve on his "consecutive games with a catch" streak.

 Bryan Anderson - WRNov. 27 - 5:45 pm et
Central Michigan wide receiver Bryan Anderson had just three catches for 35 yards and a touchdown against Northern Illinois.
Three is more than zero, and Anderson now stands alone in the NCAA record books; catching a pass in 52 consecutive games.  We offer our congrats.

 Antonio Brown - WRNov. 19 - 9:00 am et
Central Michigan wide receiver Antonio Brown brought in 11 balls for 170 yards and a touchdown against Ball State.
As quarterback Dan LeFevour has gone, so has Brown.  Which has translated in to a somewhat frustrating season with an exclamation point finish.  299 yards and two scores in his last two games has Brown looking like a top wide receiver heading into next week.

 Bryan Anderson - WRNov. 19 - 9:00 am et
Central Michigan wide receiver Bryan Anderson had four catches for 42 yards and a score against Ball State.
Anderson tied an NCAA record with a catch in 51 straight games.  The Chippewas have one game left, not including any potential conference championships or bowl games.  Anderson hasn't had a giant year since his 1132 yard, 10 score season in 2007, but owners love consistency, and it doesn't get much safer than catches in 51 straight.

 Dan LeFevour - QBNov. 19 - 9:00 am et
Central Michigan quarterback Dan LeFevour was near perfect tonight against Ball State, completing 25-of-28 passes for 343 yards and four touchdowns, while adding 60 yards and another score on the ground.
That's 11 scores in two weeks...that ought to win a few fantasy championships.  It may not have been the monstrous year LeFevour owners had hoped for, but its finishing up nicely.

 Bryan Anderson - WRNov. 12 - 11:15 am et
Central Michigan wide receiver Bryan Anderson caught four passes for 67 yards and a touchdown in Wednesday night's route of Toldeo.
Anderson now has caught a pass in an amazing 50 straight games, just one shy of the NCAA record.  Unless something crazy happens, it looks safe to assume he'll tie the record next week at Ball State, and look to break it on Nov. 27 against Northern Illinois.

 Antonio Brown - WRNov. 12 - 11:15 am et
Central Michigan wide receiver Antonio Brown, who has battled a turf toe injury, hauled in 13 balls for 129 yards and a touchdown in tonight's route of Toledo.
It's certainly nice to see Brown playing like he is capable of.  In an up and down season for Mr. Brown, feel confident starting him next week against Ball St.

 Dan LeFevour - QBNov. 12 - 11:15 am et
Central Michigan quarterback Dan LeFevour threw for 341 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 19 yards and four more scores in tonight's win against Toledo.
"Tim Tebow Light" showed again why he was a top pick in most drafts this season, posting a remarkable third six-score game.  It is safe to say Lefevour learned from his experience at Boston College two weeks ago, and should be a fun start next week against lowly Ball State.

 Antonio Brown - WRNov. 11 - 7:30 pm et
The Morning Sun is reporting that wide receiver Antonio Brown (turf toe) will play tonight against Toledo.
This is good news for fantasy owners wondering about Brown's status.  Brown is a good fantasy start tonight, though as we've seen in the past with these types of injuries, they are easy to aggravate.  It all boils down to what options you have this week.

 Antonio Brown - WRNov. 10 - 8:30 pm et
There have been no updates on the status of Central Michigan wide receiver Antonio Brown (turf toe) for Wednesday's game against Toledo. Coach Butch Jones did say the time off gave his team time to heal.  "We really benefited from the extra time off, especially with it being late in the season," said Jones during the MAC coaches teleconference on Monday. "We were able to get some individuals back (from injuries)."
One would assume Brown benefited from the time off and will likely go.  But fantasy owners will have to assume the risk that he won't play.  Pay close attention to the pregame warm-ups for information.

 Dan LeFevour - QBNov. 9 - 10:00 pm et
Head coach Butch Jones says that Central Michigan quarterback Dan LeFevour is handling his migraine issues and is good to go against Toledo Wednesday: “He’s practicing and he’s fine. He’s had them (migraines) in the past and has been able to deal with them.”
LeFevour will no doubt be one of our top-rated quarterbacks for week eleven in what should be an offensive showcase against Toledo.

 Antonio Brown - WRNov. 2 - 7:15 pm et
Central Michigan wide receiver Antonio Brown left Saturday's loss to Boston College early in the second half with what coach Butch Jones says is turf toe.
Brown's status for the November 11th game has yet to be determined, but we'd guess he'll play.

 Dan LeFevour - QBNov. 1 - 8:15 pm et
Central Michigan quarterback Dan LeFevour could only post 152 passing yards before migraines forced him to depart Saturday's game with Boston College in the fourth quarter.
Central Michigan was looking forward to making another national statement, but the Eagles had something to say about that. Hopefully LeFevour's migraines subside and he misses no more action.
