 Grant Stucker - QBNov. 27 - 5:45 pm et
Colorado State quarterback Grant Stucker is doubtful for Friday's game against Wyoming due to a separated shoulder.
Jon Eastman will likely lineup up under center for this rivalry game.  At 5-6, Wyoming is looking for a win to keep their bowl hopes alive.

 John Mosure - RBOct. 25 - 1:00 am et
Colorado State running back John Mosure rushed for 130 yards and one touchdown on 20 carries in Saturday's 42-28 loss to San Diego State.
This marks Mosure's career-high game in rushing yards and the first 100-yard game for the junior.

 Grant Stucker - QBOct. 4 - 9:00 pm et
Colorado State quarterback Grant Stucker threw for 297 yards and four scores in the loss to Idaho.
Stucker has thrown for 669 yards and six scores in the last two weeks.  Unfortunately he's been on the wrong end of the scoreboard in both games.

 Grant Stucker - QBSep. 27 - 2:45 pm et
Colorado State quarterback Grant Stucker passed for 372 yards and two touchdowns and threw two interceptions in Satruday's loss to BYU.
Both of Stucker's interceptions were later converted by BYU to touchdown scoring possessions.  Stucker's primary target was Tyson Liggett, who had 11 receptions for 156 yards and one touchdown.

 Grant Stucker - QBSep. 20 - 9:30 am et
Colorado State Rams quarterback Grant Stucker accounted for three scores in the 35-20 win over the Nevada Wolf Pack at home Saturday.
Saturday's win over Nevada was the most complete performance from Stucker so far this season. The senior finished 10 of 20 passing for 165 yards and two touchdowns with six carries for 43 yards and touchdown on the ground.

 Grant Stucker - QBMay. 4 - 11:30 am et
Colorado State coach Steve Fairchild is still looking for a starting quarterback. "I wasn't pleased at all in spring ball at quarterback," Fairchild said. "We have a long way to go.
Senior Grant Stucker and JUCO transfer Jon Eastman are currently battling for the starting spot.

 Grant Stucker - QBApr. 21 - 12:45 pm et
Even after spring practice Colorado State is no closer to having a starting quarterback, and coach Steve Fairchild is bummed that neither senior Grant Stucker or Jon Eastman appear ready to lead his squad.
Fairchild didn't mince words, telling The Coloradoan's Kelly Lyell that they're a long ways away. Fantasy owners can likely cross Colorado State quarterbacks off their list, and they can do it right about...now.

 John Mosure - RBApr. 21 - 12:45 pm et
Though John Mosure remains the favorite to emerge as the starter, Colorado State coach Steve Fairchild is disappointed in the spring performances of his running backs.
Mosure, joined by an ensemble cast in the backfield, has done little to instill any confidence in his head coach. And after Fairchild mentioned his disappointment in both his quarterbacks and running backs this spring we're hoping the coach finds a $20 in his pants pocket or something. Cheer up buddy!

 Rashaun Greer - WRApr. 19 - 9:15 pm et
Colorado State receiver Rashaun Greer proved a dual-threat presence on the field in Fort Collins for the CSU spring game Saturday, taking a 52-yard end around to the endzone in the longest play from scrimmage on the day and grabbing a 44 yard pass from quarterback Grant Stucker on the left sideline.
No surprise that the 2008 second-team all-MWC choice, who also became the first player since David Anderson in 2005 to eclipse the 1000 yard mark for receiving last season, had such a productive day. Given a proper throwing presence under center, expect Greer to be a nightmare for conference defensive backs throughout the upcoming fall.

 Grant Stucker - QBMar. 25 - 12:45 pm et
Colorado State head coach Steve Fairchild will choose between senior Grant Stucker, junior JUCO Jon Eastman and redshirt freshman Alex Kelly as he looks to find the starting quarterback for the Rams.
Does Fairchild go with the short-term fix in Stucker or does he look to the future? This position battle likely won't be won before late August, and no matter who emerges it's tough to see him becoming a real fantasy factor.

 Gartrell Johnson - RBDec. 23 - 11:00 am et
Colorado State running back Gartrell Johnson III ran for 285 yards and two scores while adding 90 receiving yards for good measure as the Rams outlasted Fresno State.
Johnson set a Football Bowl Subdivison record for most combined rush/receiving yards in postseason history.
 Dion Morton - WRNov. 22 - 8:30 pm et
Colorado State wide receiver Dion Morton caught six passes for 160 yards and three scores Saturday against Wyoming.
Morton has now caught at least one touchdown pass in his last least six games.
 Gartrell Johnson - RBNov. 22 - 8:15 pm et
In the final game of the regular season for Colorado State, senior tailback Gartell Johnson grabbed his fifth 100-yard day, taking 23 carries for 135 yards and a touchdown.
It doesn't seem so long ago that the Colorado State Rams struggled to get a rushing attack of any kind going. Yet Johnson proved tenacious and starting with a 191 yard / three touchdown day against UNLV in early October, began to go on a tear that in the end netted him for than a 1000 yards on the year.
 Billy Farris - QBNov. 22 - 7:30 pm et
Colorado State's senior quarterback Billy Farris had an excellent day this afternoon against the Wyoming Cowboys, connecting on 15-of-25 for 235 yards and three touchdowns.
CSU started slowly, but with a combination of Farris' throwing ability and an outstanding day by favorite target Dion Morton, the Rams were able to finish the season 6-6, 4-4 in the MWC. Is there a bowl game in the Rams' future?
 Gartrell Johnson - RBNov. 15 - 9:45 pm et
Colorado State senior tailback Gartrell Johnson today took 30 carries for 127 yards and a touchdown, and in doing so, became the first 1000 yard rusher for the Rams since Kyle Bell did so back in 2005.
Interestingly enough, Johnson today ended up being the first player since last year to run for 100 or more yards against the New Mexico Lobos' defense; the last player to do so? You guessed it -- Gartrell Johnson, back in 2007.

 Dion Morton - WRNov. 1 - 11:45 pm et
A definite shift in momentum at wide receiver has taken place at Colorado State in the latter part of the year, with junior Dion Morton this evening against BYU proving his meddle as a pass catcher; for the game, Morton grabbed six catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns, a season-high for the Riverside, California native.
It was the second game this year that Morton surpassed the century-mark; Rashuan Greer continues to put up the better numbers overall for CSU, but watch for the former to see further development as a statistical producer before the year is over.

 Billy Farris - QBNov. 1 - 11:45 pm et
After some debate about the ability of senior quarterback for Colorado State, Billy Farris, to lead his team adequately, the native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana tossed 18-of-35 for 251 yards passing and three touchdowns tonight against Brigham Young.
It was Farris' second consecutive three-score night in a row, with no interceptions being thrown. Consistency is the key for the senior, however, and makes him still an iffy pick even this late in the year.

 Billy Farris - QBOct. 12 - 12:00 am et
After going just 5-of-11 for 67 yards passing and an interception, senior quarterback for Colorado State, Billy Farris, was benched in favor of freshman Klay Kubiak. Kubiak came in and fared just slightly better, finishing the game with 121 yards passing and an interception.
Head coach Steve Fairchild has talked recently of getting the freshman increased time under center as a means of seasoning Kubiak for a possible starting role in 2009; after a performance like Farris' tonight against TCU, it's clear that that time is now. Watch to see if Kubiak gets a start before the year is out.

 Kory Sperry - TEOct. 12 - 12:00 am et
Senior tight end for the Colorado State Rams, Kory Sperry, got his first 100+ yard day receiving today against the TCU Horned Frogs, grabbing six catches for 104 yards receiving.
Sperry's outing against the Horned Frogs was impressive, but still leaves him inconsistent in his overall numbers for the year. CSU quarterback's have honed in on him increasingly over the last two games, however, so a potential upswing in value is a possbility.

 Billy Farris - QBSep. 27 - 11:00 pm et
A week after looking like a potential savior at the quarterback position for Colorado State, senior Billy Farris had a terrible outing against the California Bears this afternoon, throwing for 96 yards on 12-of-25 pass attempts and two interceptions
What happened to the young man that threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns against Houston? Surely the Rams' coaching staff wished it could answer that question, particularly since it took replacement Klay Kubiak to get the first points of the game on the board for CSU today against Cal.
