 Anthony Allen - RBFeb. 4 - 10:15 pm et
Georgia Tech offensive lineman Joseph Gilbert has decided to leave the school. He'll graduate this summer and look to play elsewhere. Georgia Southern has been a rumored destination.
Kind of a strange story as it was recently reported that Gilbert was struggling to be accepted into grad school at Georgia Tech. This loss is a blow to the offensive line.

 Anthony Allen - RBJan. 19 - 9:00 am et
Georgia Tech's Anthony Allen will get the first crack at replacing the departed Jonathan Dwyer at B-back this spring.
We like Allen's prospects at the position.  He's a straight ahead runner which is exactly what the position calls for, and he could thrive in Tech's offense.

 Jonathan Dwyer - RBJan. 11 - 5:30 pm et
Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer, along with defensive teammates Morgan Burnett and Derrick Morgan, will leave school and enter the NFL Draft.
Dwyer was a fantasy force during his years in Atlanta, and the Jackets will struggle to replace such a talented back, one that could deliver a pounding and take long runs to the house.

 Jonathan Dwyer - RBJan. 11 - 10:15 am et
Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer, defensive end Derrick Morgan and safety Morgan Burnett will hold a news conference on Monday to announce their intentions for next season.
We expect Dwyer will announce that he is entering the 2010 NFL Draft, but we'll have to wait and see to confirm.

 Demaryius Thomas - WRJan. 8 - 8:45 pm et
Georgia Tech wide receiver Demaryius Thomas announced that he will enter the NFL Draft during a press conference today.
Thomas has thrived in a run-first and run-second offense, and the physical receiver will be missed in the attack.

 Jonathan Dwyer - RBJan. 6 - 1:45 pm et
Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas each have a big decision to make; return to Georgia Tech for their senior year or enter the 2010 NFL Draft.
The pair are still contemplating their decisions and awaiting the grades from the NFL Advisory Committee.  Unfortunately for us college football fans, it is hard to envision the pair coming back.

 Anthony Allen - RBDec. 29 - 6:45 pm et
Georgia Tech will be returning to the scene 33-17 lose to Miami in week three as they take on Iowa in the Orange Bowl on Jan. 5.  “We feel like we didn’t play our best on that field; we feel like we played real crappy on that field,” Tech running back Anthony Allen said.
Allen hasn't scored in the last five games but the big fella is always a threat to take one to the house as teams focus on Jonathan Dwyer and quarterback Josh Nesbitt.

 Jonathan Dwyer - RBDec. 16 - 1:00 pm et
Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas will continue to mull over whether to return to school or enter the NFL Draft.
Coach Paul Johnson says that "everybody's torn" about the decision, and the loss of the junior offensive stars would certainly sting the Yellow Jackets, but something tells me Paul Johnson would adapt. I'm not so sure about the fragile fantasy owners of each player.

 Demaryius Thomas - WRDec. 8 - 7:15 pm et
Georgia Tech wide receiver Demaryius Thomas says he's not thinking about the NFL just yet.  "If I get a chance to go high, I might leave. If I don’t, I’m staying," Thomas said. "But I’m not even thinking about it."
Thomas gave the standard issue response for juniors with games left to play this time of year.  Despite playing in an option offense, it is not hard to recognize Thomas' talent.  He has size and speed and is Tech's top deep threat.

 Jonathan Dwyer - RBDec. 8 - 7:15 pm et
“I’m really just looking at what’s best for me ... me and my family,” Georgia Tech junior running back Jonathan Dwyer said about possibly entering the 2010 NFL draft. “We’ll see where that ends up."
Don't look for anything substantial to come out until after the FedEx Orange Bowl on Jan. 5.  We would be somewhat surprised to see Dwyer come back.

 Jonathan Dwyer - RBDec. 7 - 10:45 am et
Georgia Tech will take on Iowa in the FedEx Orange Bowl on Jan. 5 at 8 p.m.
Tech quarterback Josh Nesbitt and running back Jonathan Dwyer will look to run against a solid Hawkeye rush defense.  Iowa quarterback Ricky Stanzi (ankle) and running back Adam Robinson (ankle) are getting healthy and should be ready for this one.

 Josh Nesbitt - QBDec. 5 - 9:15 am et
Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson says that quarterback Josh Nesbitt (ankle) is ready to go for Saturday's ACC Championship game against Clemson.
Nesbitt has put together a phenomenal year, partially due to the fact that he's remained fairly healthy.  Nesbitt has 26 touchdowns on the year, 17 of those on the ground.

 Josh Nesbitt - QBNov. 29 - 4:15 pm et
Georgia Tech quarterback Josh Nesbitt took a hard hit in the first half against Georgia on Saturday and had to be helped off the field.
Nesbitt was taken to the locker room for X-rays and they came up negative.  He did return to finish the game, scoring two second half touchdowns, one on the ground and one through the air.  Unfortunately, Nesbitt's passes didn't find their targets in the final drive and Tech lost to the Bulldogs 30-24.

 Jonathan Dwyer - RBNov. 23 - 9:45 am et
Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson will sit down this week with his NFL-eligible juniors, and fantasy owners will be awaiting the decisions of running back Jonathan Dwyer and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas.
It's clear that both Dwyer and Thomas have futures as paid football professionals, however each will need to examine his potential draft position.

 Jonathan Dwyer - RBNov. 18 - 5:15 pm et
Georgia Tech starting center Sean Bedford (ankle) is questionable Nov. 28 against Georgia.
The Yellow Jackets are on a bye this week, giving Bedford time to rest.  If Bedford can't play, it could negatively effect quarterback Josh Nesbitt and running back Jonathan Dwyer.

 Jonathan Dwyer - RBNov. 15 - 8:00 am et
Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer topped the 100-yard rushing mark for the fourth straight week, carrying 14 times for 110 yards and two scores in an ACC Coastal Division clinching win over Duke.
Dwyer gets an off week then the 41st ranked Georgia Bulldog rushing defense.

 Jonathan Dwyer - RBNov. 8 - 8:45 am et
Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer topped his career-high rushing mark set just last week with 189 yards and a touchdown in the Yellow Jackets overtime win over Wake Forest.
Dwyer's carry total topped the 20 mark for the fourth straight week. If the Yellow Jackets feed Dwyer that many carries again next week against Duke we may be talking about a new career-high for the junior back once again.

 Jonathan Dwyer - RBNov. 5 - 2:00 am et
After a slow start Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer has pulled ahead of last season's pace, and the junior tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he's gone from a "good" runner in the early part of the season to a "fearless" one now.
Fantasy owners should plan on riding the Dwyer Train down the stretch as he's getting stronger as the year goes on.

 Josh Nesbitt - QBNov. 1 - 7:30 pm et
Georgia Tech quarterback Josh Nesbitt completed only 6-of-13 passes against Vanderbilt, but those six completions went for 193 yards and two scores. Nesbitt also continued his ground game fantasy dominance against the Commodores, rushing for 56 yards and two scores.
It may surprise many of you to know that Josh Nesbitt was actually ranked as the 9th best fantasy quarterback coming into this game against Vanderbilt. A potential shootout with Wake Forest awaits next, so if by some miracle he's still available in your league snatch him up.

 Jonathan Dwyer - RBNov. 1 - 7:30 pm et
Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer set a career-high mark of 186 yards rushing which included three scoring runs as the Yellow Jackets put up nearly 600 yards of offense on Vanderbilt.
Dwyer's numbers have really picked up the past few weeks after struggling slightly to start the season. In the past three games he's been the recipient of 20 or more carries. Coincidence? I think not.
