 Alexander Robinson - RBDec. 7 - 10:45 am et
Minnesota and Iowa State will play in the Insight Bowl in Tempe, Arizona on Dec. 31 at 6 p.m.
Unfortunately foot surgery has all but eliminated Minnesota wide receiver Eric Decker from playing in one last game as a Gopher.  On the other side of the ball, running back Alexander Robinson will look for his sixth 100-yard rushing game of the season against the Gophers defense.

 Darius Darks - WRNov. 22 - 7:00 pm et
Iowa State wide receiver Darius Darks had nine receptions for 107 yards and one touchdown in Saturday's 34-24 loss at Missouri.
Darks, a sophomore, has just one other game in his career with over 100 yards.

 Alexander Robinson - RBNov. 21 - 12:15 am et
Iowa State running back Alexander Robinson is currently third in the Big 12 in rushing with 1000 yards on 195, but he's only concerned with beating Missouri on Saturday.  “That’s the goal, always,” he said. “If other things come with it, great. But we’re trying to get to the best bowl game that we can.”
Robinson has had his ups and downs this year and hasn't scored a touchdown in five games.  I got a feeling he finds pay dirt this weekend.

 Austen Arnaud - QBNov. 15 - 8:45 pm et
Iowa State quarterback Austen Arnaud threw for 116 yards and two touchdowns and an interception and ran for 42 yards on 15 carries in Saturday's 17-10 win over Colorado.
Arnaud was complimented with a solid Cyclone ground game. Alexander Robinson had 138 yards on 30 carries on the day. Iowa State is now bowl eligible for the first time since 2005.

 Austen Arnaud - QBNov. 10 - 8:15 pm et
After being slowed by injuries in recent weeks, running back Alexander Robinson (hamstring) and quarterback Austen Arnaud (hand) appear to be back to full strength...or close to it.
With Colorado up next, the two are decent fantasy plays if you are running thin at those positions.

 Austen Arnaud - QBNov. 8 - 11:45 am et
Iowa State quarterback Austen Arnaud returned from injury (hand) and threw for 188 yards and one touchdown in the 34-8 loss to Oklahoma State.
Arnaud also had three interceptions and was sacked three times by the Cowboys, making his return less than successful for Iowa State.

 Austen Arnaud - QBNov. 8 - 8:45 am et
Iowa State quarterback Austen Arnaud injured this right (throwing) hand again in the first half against Oklahoma State.
Arnaud did return, but the Iowa State offense is clearly struggling right now, only managing 25 points in their last three games.

 Austen Arnaud - QBNov. 3 - 3:15 am et
The Iowa State offense will welcome back quarterback Austen Arnaud and running back Alexander Robinson from injury in time for this week's game against Oklahoma State.
The two stars will be rejoined in the starting lineup by center Reggie Stephens, providing the Cyclones with a fighting chance to keep up with an Oklahoma State offense likely still stinging from a whooping at the hands of the Texas Longhorns.

 Jerome Tiller - QBNov. 1 - 7:45 pm et
Iowa State quarterback Jerome Tiller, playing in place of Austen Arnaud, (hand) threw for 155 yards on 18-of-27 passing and ran for 43 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's loss to Texas A&M. Tiller also threw two interceptions in the game.
This is the second week that Tiller has played in place of the injured Arnaud, who is recovering from a bruised throwing hand. Up next for the Cyclones is a home game against Oklahoma State.

 Austen Arnaud - QBOct. 28 - 11:00 am et
Iowa State could get two offensive weapons back this week against Texas A&M. Alexander Robinson (groin) returned to practice on Sunday and is expected to play.   Quarterback Austen Arnaud (hand) might also play, but it will depend on if the swelling goes down in his hand.
Right now the news is more encouraging on Robinson than it is on Arnaud.

 Austen Arnaud - QBOct. 25 - 4:15 pm et
Iowa State quarterback Austen Arnaud (bruised hand) and running back Alexander Robinson (groin) both sat out Saturday's game against Nebraska.
Reports earlier in the week suggest that both should play, but obviously the injuries are more severe than were being reported.

 Austen Arnaud - QBOct. 19 - 8:30 pm et
Quarterback Austen Arnaud is expected to start Saturday against Nebraska. Arnaud bruised his right (throwing) hand last week against Baylor.
The Nebraska defense is much improved this year and even if Arnaud is ready to play, playing at Memorial Stadium will be a daunting task for the Cyclones.

 Alexander Robinson - RBOct. 19 - 8:15 pm et
Iowa State running back Alexander Robinson re-aggravated a groin injury on Saturday; however coach Paul Rhodes told Tim Griffin of ESPN.com that he expects Robinson to play on Saturday against Nebraska.
Iowa State's offense has been a pleasant surprise, and it's been Robinson leading the way on the ground.

Iowa State quarterback Austen Arnaud passed for 293 yards and two touchdowns, and he also rushed for 67 yards and a score in the Cyclones' close loss to Kansas.
Iowa State's passing game wasn't the only trouble for the Kansas defense. Running back Alexander Robinson, who seems to be fully recovered from a groin injury, had 152 yards and two scores in the game.

 Alexander Robinson - RBOct. 9 - 8:00 am et
Iowa State running back Alexander Robinson missed practice on Tuesday but he did run.  Robinson has been hobbled by a groin injury the last two weeks.
All signs point to Robinson playing this week against Kansas, but there have been no definitive reports.

 Austen Arnaud - QBOct. 4 - 9:15 pm et
Iowa State quarterback Austen Arnaud had 84 yards and a touchdown on the ground and 164 yards and two touchdowns on 48 percent pass completion in Saturday's last-minute loss to Kansas State.
Arnaud's final touchdown throw occurred with just 32 seconds remaining in the game, and the blocked PAT proved to be the deciding factor in the 24-23 loss.  Arnaud has a combined 12 touchdowns thus far through five games.

The Des Moines Register reports that Iowa State running back Alexander Robinson (groin) is expected to start this weekend against Kansas State.

Iowa State running back Alexander Robinson rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's win over Army.  Robinson also had three receptions for 51 yards and two touchdowns in the game.
Other than a first quarter field goal, quarterback Austen Arnaud and Robinson were the only scorers for the Cyclones. Arnaud ended the day with 175 yards and two touchdowns passing (both to Robinson) and 62 yards and one touchdown rushing.

Iowa State running back Alexander Robinson rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries against Kent State on Saturday.
This strong performance by Robinson marks his second consecutive and fifth career 100-yard game.  Robinson figures to be an integral peice of the offense, averaging 19 touches and 108 yards in the first three games of the season.

 Darius Darks - WRSep. 16 - 1:45 pm et
Iowa State coach Paul Rhoads is looking to get more production out of wide receivers Darius Darks and Sedrick Johnson.  “Darks and Sedrick Johnson have been all but non-existent in the first two games,” Rhoads said. “They have to start showing up on the field for us to score more points.”
Darks has been slowed by a hamstring injury so far this season, but Rhoads says he is completely healthy and will be a bigger part of the game plan this week.
