 Darius Willis - RBNov. 10 - 2:15 pm et
Indiana running back Darius Willis suffered a lower leg injury last week against Wisconsin, and his status for this week's game against Penn State is unknown.
Willis is a burner who opens things up for the Hoosiers' offense.  They'll have a tough time against the Nittany Lions without him.

 Darius Willis - RBOct. 25 - 12:30 am et
Indiana running back Darius Willis ran for 103 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to Northwestern.
70 of his yards came on one run to start the game, and Willis was held to just 33 yards on 13 carries the rest of the way.  Never-the-less, Willis got you the fantasy points.

 Darius Willis - RBOct. 10 - 12:00 am et
ESPN.com's Adam Rittenberg reports that Indiana running back Darius Willis is listed as questionable for Saturday's game at Virginia.
If Willis cannot go then Indiana doesn't really present a fantasy-worthy tailback this week.

 Tandon Doss - WROct. 3 - 11:30 pm et
Indiana wide receiver Tandon Doss accounted for 127 yards of offense with a touchdown in the Hoosier loss to Ohio State.
Doss is becoming a solid weekly starter from the wide receiver slot in your lineup.

 Darius Willis - RBSep. 27 - 8:00 am et
Indiana freshmen running back Darius Willis ran 16 times for 152 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to Michigan on Saturday.
Important to note -  85 of those yards came on one play in the fourth quarter, but it was a nice sideline run for a touchdown that briefly gave the lead back to Indiana.

 Ben Chappell - QBSep. 4 - 6:45 am et
Damarlo Belcher had a nice start to the season, catching six balls for 97 yards and a TD from QB Ben Chappell in Thursday night's win over Eastern Kentucky.
Consider the opponent, but someone will be catching the balls at IU considering the state of their running game.

 Demetrius McCray - RBAug. 28 - 9:00 pm et
Indiana's depth chart reveals that senior Demetrius McCray is listed as the starting running back.
Bill Lynch's plan to use a bunch of backs makes this news rather inconsequential to fantasy owners.  Still, those in Big Ten leagues should take note of McCray as a possible fill-in.

 Demetrius McCray - RBApr. 19 - 3:30 pm et
Indiana running backs Demetrius McCray and Darius Willis combined to rush for 168 rushing yards and two scores in Saturday's spring game in Bloomington.
The race is on to replace Marcus Thigpen at halfback for the 2009 season, and McCray and Willis look to be the lead options. The Hoosiers will likely be running back-by-committee, with many expecting Bryan Payton to get into the mix as well this fall.

 Damarlo Belcher - WRApr. 19 - 1:45 pm et
Indiana's Damarlo Belcher led all Hoosier receivers with six catches for 82 yards in Saturday's spring game in Bloomington.
Belcher played as a freshman and had two excellent games last year against Michigan State (four catches/73 yards) and Northwestern (six catches/82 yards), but finished with just 337 yards and two touchdowns on the season. However, He showed a great deal of promise in yesterday's spring game and should be a bigger factor in 2009.

 Ben Chappell - QBApr. 19 - 1:45 pm et
Ben Chappell, quarterback for the Indiana Hoosiers, went 14-of-22 passing for 205 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's spring game in Bloomington.
Look for Chappell to be much more confident under center now that he now longer has to look over his shoulder at Kellen Lewis.

 Kellen Lewis - QBMar. 24 - 3:15 pm et
Hoping to nip a quarterback controversy before it has a chance to sprout, Indiana coach Bill Lynch has named Ben Chappell the starting quarterback and moved Kellen Lewis to a starting wide receiver spot.
Lewis struggled through a 2008 while dealing with injuries and a quarterback battle, and now he'll have to line up outside full time. He goes from definite fantasy factor to an afterthought at wide receiver. IU will likely still incorporate Lewis' skills as a passer into the offense in some fashion, though it won't be enough for consistent production.

 Ben Chappell - QBMar. 24 - 3:15 pm et
Indiana head coach Bill Lynch has decreed that Ben Chappell is his starting quarterback and will see the first-team snaps during practice, thus relegating former quarterback Kellen Lewis to wide receiver, where's he's currently listed as a starter.
Lynch is attempting to make IU into more of a "downhill running football team" and he feels the best way to do this is with a traditional quarterback under center. Chappell has a fraction of the fantasy value that Kellen Lewis would have as starting quarterback, though we still don't think we've seen Kellen Lewis take his last snap as Indiana quarterback.

 Kellen Lewis - QBFeb. 24 - 3:30 pm et
According to coach Bill Lewis quarterback Kellen Lewis will be "all over the place" during spring practice in an attempt to get both Lewis and quarterback Ben Chappell on the field at the same.
The news sounds exciting from a fans' perspective and it will surely give Big Ten defensive coordinators fits. However, it drops Lewis from a fantasy perspective for now.

 Ray Fisher - WRFeb. 24 - 3:15 pm et
Indiana wide receiver Ray Fisher will work out exclusively at cornerback this fall for the Hoosiers.
The switch may not be permanent, and we could see Fisher back on offense this fall. In all, the Hoosiers have moved seven players from the offensive side to the defensive side of the ball to accommodate for off-season losses. The others include: RB Trea Burgess to linebacker, WR Shane Covington to safety, WR Kyle Dietrick to safety, OL Milton Owens to defensive tackle, OL Jarrod Smith to defensive tackle and WR Collin Taylor to safety.

 Andrew Means - WRJan. 11 - 11:00 pm et
Indiana wide receiver Andrew Means has declared for the NFL draft.
It appears a budding baseball career was going to keep Means from the Hoosiers football team this year anyway, so he may as well give the draft a whirl.

 Marcus Thigpen - RBNov. 15 - 9:45 pm et
Indiana do-everything back Marcus Thigpen continues to perform, this week rushing for 72 yards and a touchdown in the loss at Happy Valley.
Thigpen hasn't been very consistent, however he now has over 800 yards from scrimmage and nine scores on the season.
 Kellen Lewis - QBNov. 14 - 10:00 am et
Both Kellen Lewis (ankle) and Ben Chappell (minor concussion) should be ready to play this week against Penn State.
A starter has not been named and the two will likely split time at quarterback for Indiana. Neither is a good fantasy option.

 Ben Chappell - QBNov. 8 - 6:00 pm et
The Indiana Hoosiers looked like a fairly solid passing offense this afternoon -- at least for the first half -- as sophomore Ben Chappell went 11-of-20 for 126 yards and a touchdown through the first two quarters of today's matchup with the Wisconsin Badgers. Problem was that Chappell left the game late in the second quarter with a head injury and would not return for the remainder of the contest.
Kellen Lewis came in relief of Chappell, but went 0-for-5 passing, along with one rush for four yards. No word yet how serious the injury to Chappell is.

 Bryan Payton - RBNov. 7 - 4:15 pm et
Indiana running back Bryan Payton will miss Saturday's game against Wisconsin with an ankle injury.
Payton usually splits carries with Marcus Thigpen, who is also nursing an ankle injury. Thigpen is listed as probable this week.

 Kellen Lewis - QBNov. 4 - 4:00 pm et
Indiana head coach Bill Lynch is hopeful that quarterback Kellen Lewis (ankle) will play this week against Western Michigan.
Lewis has been slowed by an ankle injury for most of the season and is splitting time with Ben Chappell. Needless to say, he is not a good fantasy option.
