 Giorgio Morgan - QBSep. 16 - 12:45 pm et
Kent State quarterback Giorgio Morgan has been ruled out of Saturday's contest against Iowa State due to a sprained ankle.   Freshman quarterback Spencer Keith will get the start for the Flashes.
It has been a tough week for the Kent State offense, not only must they replace their top playmaker in running back in Eugene Jarvis, they must replace their starting quarterback as well.

 Eugene Jarvis - RBSep. 14 - 5:30 pm et
Kent State running back Eugene Jarvis will miss the rest of the season after injuring his kidney against Boston College last Saturday.
Jarvis will apply for a medical redshirt which would grant him a sixth year of eligibility.

 Eugene Jarvis - RBSep. 4 - 11:30 am et
Kent State running back Eugene Jarvis was up to his old tricks Thursday night rushing for 27 times for 141 yards and a score in the win over Coastal Carolina.  Jarvis also snared 3 passes for 30 yards.
Jarvis had an injury plagued 2008, turning many fantasy owners off.  But playing in the MAC, Jarvis can still put up big numbers.

Giorgio Morgan has taken an early lead in securing the starting quarterback spot for Kent St.
Coach Doug Martin seems pretty giddy about Morgan's arm. However he will have a hard time matching the production of departed Julian Edelman, a quarterback that could beat you with his arm and his feet.

 Eugene Jarvis - RBNov. 28 - 7:00 pm et
Kent State running back Eugene Jarvis ran for 150 yards and two scores as he and his teammates upset James Starks and his Buffalo Bulls.
Jarvis and Starks have been two of the more productive backs in the MAC, and this week's performance leaves Jarvis with over 1000 yards from scrimmage and ten scores on the season.
 Eugene Jarvis - RBNov. 19 - 1:15 pm et
Kent State running back Eugene Jarvis managed only 15 yards rushing on 13 carries against Northern Illinois Tuesday night. Jarvis did add a rushing touchdown and 50 yards receiving to the stat column.
The Huskies have played good defense all year, but we still expected a little more out of Jarvis and the Kent State offense in their final home game of the year.
 Julian Edelman - QBNov. 19 - 1:15 pm et
After scoring four touchdowns in back-to-back weeks, Kent State quarterback Julian Edelman was held scoreless against Northern Illinois Tuesday.
Edelman should find the going a little easier next week against a less stingy Buffalo defense.
 Eugene Jarvis - RBNov. 13 - 11:00 am et
Kent State running back Eugene Jarvis rushed 34 times for 185 yards and a score Wednesday night against Temple.
Jarvis has had a bit of an up and down year due to injuries and the emergence of quarterback Julian Edelman, but is still a good fantasy option down the stretch.
 Julian Edelman - QBNov. 13 - 11:00 am et
Quarterback Julian Edelman scored three rushing touchdowns and added another through the air to power Kent State over Temple 41-38 Wednesday night.
Edelman has been a solid fantasy producer and a great choice for owners looking to plug a gap at quarterback down the stretch.
 Julian Edelman - QBNov. 1 - 11:00 pm et
Kent State quarterback Julian Edelman had a huge day inspite of a loss by Kent State 45-30 to Bowling Green. Edelman accounted for 389 of Kent State's 478 yards of total offensive production. Edelman passed for 219 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions, and added 170 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
Eugene Jarvis hasn't quite had the breakout season many predicted, but rather its been quarterback Julian Edelman who has become the focal point of the Kent State offensive attack.

 Eugene Jarvis - RBOct. 26 - 1:00 pm et
Running back Eugene Jarvis scored four second quarter touchdowns in the win over Miami (Oh) on Saturday. Jarvis finished with 105 yards and four scores on 23 carries.
Jarvis has missed most of the year with an ankle sprain, but looks to be in midseason form.
 Eugene Jarvis - RBOct. 7 - 10:00 am et
Updating the status of running back Eugene Jarvis (high ankle sprain), head coach Doug Martin said, "Eugene was running on his injured ankle the other day at practice, so that's a good sign. We may get him back."
The news sounds encouraging, but you'll have to assume the risk if you start him and he doesn't go. The emergence of quarterback Juilian Edleman is also a concern.

 Eugene Jarvis - RBSep. 30 - 9:45 am et
Kent State running back Eugene Jarvis will likely miss Saturday's contest against Akron with a high ankle sprain.
An MRI revealed it was just a mild sprain, but high ankle sprains can linger for weeks.

 Eugene Jarvis - RBSep. 23 - 10:15 am et
Eugene Jarvis' ankle injury appears to be worse than reported last week as Jarvis has the dreaded high ankle sprain. Jarvis is highly questionable this week against Ball State.
After many owners were burned last week, I think it is safe to say, leave Jarvis on the bench.

Running back Eugene Jarvis (ankle) sat out Saturday's contest against La-Lafeyette.
All indications from the coaching staff were that Jarvis' ankle injury wasn't serious. This is just another reminder on how difficult it is to predict collge football injures and we should err on the side of caution.

Updating Eugene Jarvis' ankle injury, head coach Doug Martin said, "Eugene just twisted his ankle a little bit early and he could have gone back in the game, but there was no reasown for us to put him in the game. He should be fine."
We'll continue to monitor Jarvis' status, but consider him probable against La-Lafayette on Saturday.

 Eugene Jarvis - RBSep. 14 - 2:45 pm et
Kent State running back Eugene Jarvis was pulled after only five carries for a "minor ankle" injury.
Always a potential problem when facing off against over-matched teams, it appears that the Golden Flashes wanted to give their stud running back the week off.
