 Da'Rel Scott - RBDec. 18 - 8:00 pm et
Maryland offensive tackle Bruce Campbell will forgo his senior season and enter the 2010 NFL Draft.
Campbell is the first offensive lineman to decide to leave school early; there are surely to be more.

 Jamarr Robinson - QBNov. 21 - 11:15 pm et
A week after racking up 233 yards of offense against Virginia Tech (129 of it rushing), Maryland quarterback Jamarr Robinson completed 20 of his 27 passes for 214 yards and a touchdown while adding 58 yards rushing.
When you're putting together your 2010 draft kit remember to throw Jamarr Robinson on your sleeper quarterback list. With the departure of senior quarterback Chris Turner he will be one to watch.

 Chris Turner - QBNov. 17 - 4:00 pm et
Maryland quarterback Chris Turner (knee) will miss his second consecutive game.  Jamarr Robinson will get the start against Florida State.
Robinson had 129 yards on the ground last week against Virginia Tech and should fare better in the passing department in his second start, but he's not worth a fantasy play at this point.

 Da'Rel Scott - RBNov. 17 - 4:00 pm et
Maryland running back Da'Rel Scott returned to practice Tuesday with a brace on his wrist and may play on Saturday against Florida State.
Florida State's rush defense is atrocious, but it is a little too risky to start Scott coming off of injury.

 Jamarr Robinson - QBNov. 15 - 8:00 am et
Maryland's sophomore quarterback Jamarr Robinson was rather impressive in his first start in place of the injured Chris Turner. Robinson passed for 104 yards, but also carried 24 times for 129 yards.
With this kind of dual-threat ability Jamarr Robinson could be one to watch late in 2010 drafts as Maryland continues to get all the pieces of their offense in place.

 Da'Rel Scott - RBNov. 13 - 10:45 am et
Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen said that running back Da'Rel Scott (forearm) is aiming for a November 21 return against Florida State.
Look for Davin Meggett to see the majority of carries this week, though he'll struggle to find room against Virginia Tech.

 Chris Turner - QBNov. 9 - 2:15 pm et
Maryland quarterback Chris Turner (sprained MCL) is questionable this week against Virginia Tech.
Jamarr Robinson is the most likely candidate to replace Turner if he is lost for an extended period of time.

 Chris Turner - QBNov. 7 - 6:00 pm et
Maryland quarterback Chris Turner had thrown for 135 yards before leaving late in the first half with a left leg injury.
The severity of Turner's injury is not yet known. He was replaced by sophomore Jamarr Robinson.

 Morgan Green - RBNov. 5 - 8:30 pm et
Maryland running back Morgan Green (groin) is out for this week's game against North Carolina State.
Look for Davin Meggett to see a nice chunk of carries this Saturday.

 Chris Turner - QBOct. 17 - 11:30 pm et
Maryland quarterback Chris Turner snapped his scoring streak of five consecutive games with a touchdown; only managing 158 yards passing and completing just 42 percent of his passes.
This game against Virginia was an ugly one as neither team managed an offensive touchdown until late in the fourth quarter, and Maryland only managed to put three field goals on the scoreboard. Chris Turner had been a solid performer before this one throwing for 1,317 and nine touchdowns in his last five outings.

 Davin Meggett - RBOct. 8 - 12:00 pm et
Maryland offensive coordinator James Franklin said running backs Davin Meggett, Gary Douglas, D.J. Adams and possibly Caleb Porzel could all see time this week against Wake Forest.
Meggett has the most potential of the group.  However, Maryland is only averaging  102 yards per game on the ground.  Franklin attributes this low number to offensive line woes.

 Da'Rel Scott - RBOct. 4 - 9:15 pm et
Maryland running back Da'Rel Scott suffered a broken wrist against Clemson on Saturday.  Scott may be able to return later in the year wearing a soft cast, but coach Ralph Friedgen says that will all depend on whether he can hold onto the football.
With Scott out, Davin Meggett will start at running back for the Terps.  Morgan Green will likely see more carries as well.

 Torrey Smith - WROct. 3 - 10:00 pm et
Sophomore wide receiver Torrey Smith helped Maryland top the Clemson Tigers with three catches for 64 yards and a touchdown. Smith also had a 10 yard rushing attempt and 100 yards in kick returns.
Smith has the speed to be a dangerous fantasy option as it is evident he is a favorite target of quarterback Chris Turner. Since the season opening loss to Cal, Smith has racked up 20 catches for 421 yards and three touchdowns.

 Da'Rel Scott - RBSep. 19 - 9:30 pm et
Da'Rel Scott led the Maryland Terrapins in rushing yet again this week with 117 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries, but two crucial fumbles from Scott gave Middle Tennessee State the opportunity to steal a win. Backup running back Davin Meggett finished the game out carrying Scott with 18 carries for 51 yards and a touchdown.
We think Da'Rel Scott's position is secure for now, but with talent like Meggett waiting in the wings Scott does not want this fumble problem to become a habit.

 Mike Barbour - KSep. 2 - 5:00 pm et
The Baltimore Sun reports that Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen cannot decide on whether Mike Barbour or Nick Ferrara will handle the kicking duties on a regular basis. Ferrara is the long-range guy, but the kicker of the short ones remains up in the air.
Avoid the Maryland kicking situation. You've got enough things to worry about beyond which guy will trot out for Maryland on fourth down.

 Davin Meggett - RBAug. 28 - 11:45 pm et
Maryland offensive coordinator James Franklin told the Baltimore Sun that sophomore running back Davin Meggett has "improved as much as anybody" and he's another #1 running back to go along with Da'Rel Scott.
Consider Meggett's move up the Maryland depth chart comparable to Zach Brown's move on John Clay at Wisconsin.  Both speedsters have gained a great deal of ground on presumed incumbents, and now Meggett becomes a bigger fantasy factor while Scott takes a hit.

 Adrian Cannon - WRAug. 19 - 11:45 pm et
Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen tells Jeff Barker of The Baltimore Sun that wide receiver Adrian Cannon "is far and above all the receivers we have right now."
Cannon is an interesting one.  The Terps need to replace production lost with Darrius Heyward-Bey hanging with Al Davis in Oakland, and with a very nice ground attack we could see a much-improved offense in College Park.  At this point we'll deem him an ACC-only guy, but we're keeping an eye on this junior from Avondale High School.

 Chris Turner - QBJul. 28 - 12:00 pm et
Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen hopes that quarterback Chris Turner can play the role of "stabilizer" as he leads the Terps' attack.
A stabilizer may be just what is needed in College Park, however fantasy owners should turn and run.

 Chris Turner - QBApr. 26 - 10:45 am et
Maryland quarterback Chris Turner played solidly in the Red-White spring game, accumulating 235 yards and two touchdowns on 15-of-21 passing. Sophomore Jamarr Robinson, Turner's expected backup, ended the day with 253 yards and three touchdowns.
On a team with nine scholarship wide receivers, Turner should have no trouble finding viable targets in the fall and continuing his success climbing up the ACC and Maryland leaderboard.

 Morgan Green - RBApr. 22 - 9:45 am et
Maryland running back Morgan Green has had his share of nagging injuries the last two years and has just one wish, to be healthy when Sept. 5 rolls around. "That's all I want," Green said. "If I make it through camp, I'll be the happiest guy ever because then I'll know I'll have a good season."
Da'Rel Scott is the Terps starter but he has been a bit inconsistent and has battled injuries of his own. A healthy Green could muddy the Maryland running back spot.
