 Brayden Coombs - WRNov. 18 - 10:30 pm et
Miami (OH) senior WR Brayden Coombs caught 14 passes for 100 yards in tonight's loss to Buffalo.
Another fun night of Wednesday football in the MAC.  Coombs had all of 26 catches for 292 yards on the season.  Nice going out party for the senior.

 Armand Robinson - WRNov. 5 - 11:45 pm et
Miami (OH) wide receiver Armand Robinson caught 9 balls for 117 yards and two touchdowns in tonight's loss to Temple.
Robinson now has 23 catches and four scores in his last three contests.  QB Zac Dysert is emerging before our eyes, and Robinson has clearly become his favorite target.  Robinson should post consistent numbers down the stretch, making him a sneaky playoff play in the coming weeks.  These two are definitely a pass-catch duo to monitor next season as well.

 Eugene Harris - WRSep. 20 - 12:15 pm et
Junior wideout Eugene Harris III showed out Saturday, grabbing six receptions for 134 yards and two scores in a 48-26 road loss to the Western Michigan Broncos.
Miami (OH) has been searching for some sort of presence under center through its first three games and may have finally found it in senior Daniel Raudabaugh, who went 25 of 42 for 288 yards passing and hit Harris for both of his touchdowns.

 Daniel Raudabaugh - QBApr. 20 - 5:00 pm et
Miami (Ohio) senior quarterback Daniel Raudabaugh wound up the spring game with 145 yards and a touchdown on 11-of-14 passing.
Raudabaugh split time on the Red squad with his freshman backup Zac Dysert, who ended the day with 129 yards. The defense was the highlight of the day, keeping the numbers of both quarterbacks in check.
 Thomas Merriweather - RBDec. 23 - 8:15 pm et
Miami (Ohio) has hired Mike Haywood as their next head coach. Haywood has been the offensive coordinator at Notre Dame for the last four seasons.
Haywood will stay on to coach the Irish in the Hawaii Bowl on Wednesday. Head coach Charlie Weis is expected to call the plays for the Irish.

 Thomas Merriweather - RBOct. 23 - 10:00 am et
Miami Ohio running back Thomas Merriweather is questionable for this week's contest with Kent State after suffering an ankle injury on his fifth carry Saturday.
Freshman J.R. Taylor filled in nicely after Merriweather went down, rushing for 127 yards on 18 carries. Coach Shane Montgomery has stated that he will use three backs (including Andre Bratton) if they are healthy. Avoid Merriweather this week.

 Brandon Murphy - RBSep. 9 - 7:51 am et
Senior Redhawk running back was knocked out of the game in the 4th quarter with an apparent knee injury. Extent of the injury is unknown.
Murphy was on his way to becoming the main back for the Redhawks. Andre Bratton is the most likely candidate to replace Murphy if he is out for an extended period of time.

 Ryne Robinson - WRMay. 9 - 6:03 pm et
Ryne Robinson will return to the football team at Miami (Ohio) rather than pursue a professional baseball career.
Robinson is a very talented baseball player and might have a future in the sport, but he is also the most talented player on the Redhawks' football team. His return along with running back Brandon Murphy's return ensures that Miami (Ohio) should be be one of the top offenses in the MAC.
 Brandon Murphy - RBApr. 17 - 9:13 pm et
RB Brandon Murphy returns as the Redhawks' starter.
He's sat out the spring with a bone spur in his right ankle. Murphy rumbled for 1070 yards as a 2005 sophomore and now looks to be the team's top offensive weapon with uncertainty at QB and wide receiver. The ankle is expected to be healed by fall.

 Mike Kokal - QBApr. 1 - 10:40 pm et
Shane Montgomery was impressed by QB Mike Kokal Saturday.
"Mike looked pretty good and made good decisions," Miami's head coach said. "Though he doesn't have a lot of experience, he continues to show he has a good understanding of the offense and did a good job avoiding turnovers." The junior Kokal is competing with sophomore Jared Elliott and rookie Daniel Raudabaugh.

QB Jared Elliott is being held out of spring practices.

 Nathan Parseghian - KMar. 24 - 1:57 pm et
Nathan Parseghian is expected to be the RedHawks' kicker in 2006.
His brother Jared holds Miami University records for PATs and field-goal percentage. Considering the team's overhaul on offense, however, he doesn't figure to be a great college fantasy option.

 Ryne Robinson - WRMar. 24 - 1:48 pm et
WR Ryne Robinson will miss spring practices.
Robinson will be practicing with the Redhawks' baseball team. When he returns to football in the Fall, he'll be relied on to fill the void left by likely NFL draft pick Martin Nance at wide receiver.

 Mike Kokal - QBMar. 24 - 1:34 pm et
Miami of Ohio's quarterback situation is open to competition.
Junior-eligible Mike Kokal is the only quarterback with game experience for the RedHawks. Sophomore Jared Elliott and redshirt freshman Daniel Raudabaugh are also in the mix to replace the graduated Josh Betts.

 Ryne Robinson - WROct. 29 - 6:31 pm et
Ryne Robinson had a monster game today catching the ball 10 times for 148 yards and a touchdown.
Robinson has been hit or miss this season. We don't recommend him. He is too risky of a play.
 Brandon Murphy - RBOct. 29 - 6:24 pm et
Brandon Murphy was held to 61 yards today against Temple, but he did reach the endzone two times.
This game was the first time since September 10 that Murphy didn't rush for over 100 yards. He is great RB2 in all leagues.
