 Blaine Gabbert - QBJan. 25 - 6:45 pm et
Kansas City Star's Blair Kerkhoff writes today in his article about the possibility of Missouri leaving the Big 12 and joining the Big Ten.
Why would Missouri jump ship?  The answer is simple, money.  The Big Ten generates over three times as much television revenue than the Big 12, and that money is distributed to the schools.

 Jared Perry - WRDec. 28 - 9:30 pm et
Missouri wide receiver Jared Perry (knee) has been cleared for action in Thursday's Texas Bowl.
Perry will return following a two-game absence to end the season. He should take some heat off of Danario Alexander, but Perry's fantasy potential is limited.

 Jared Perry - WRDec. 15 - 11:45 am et
If all goes as planned, Missouri wide receiver Jared Perry (fractured leg) could be back at practice on Dec. 27 and may return for the Texas Bowl against Navy on Dec. 31.
This is big news for the Tigers' offense and would lighten some of the load that Danario Alexander has had to shoulder.  Perry has missed the better part of the last three games and Alexander has averaged 13 catches and 214 yards per game during that stretch.  It should be noted that Alexander also posted a 13 catch and 214 yard day against Baylor, before Perry's injury, but I think it is safe to say Alexander saw more looks once Perry was out.

 Danario Alexander - WRDec. 7 - 10:45 am et
Missouri will battle Navy in the Texas Bowl in Houston on Dec. 31 at 3:30 p.m.
This is a game of polar opposites.  Missouri will look to move the ball through the air with quarterback Blaine Gabbert and wide receiver Danario Alexander.  While Navy will look to pound it on the ground with the triple option, led by quarterback Ricky Dobbs.

 Derrick Washington - RBNov. 28 - 11:00 pm et
Missouri running back Derrick Washington rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries in Saturday's 41-39 win over Kansas.
Washington appears to be fully recovered from the concussion he sustained last week against Iowa State. This marks the junior's second 100-yard game of the 2009 season.

 Danario Alexander - WRNov. 28 - 11:00 pm et
Missouri wide receiver Danario Alexander had 15 receptions for 233 yards and a touchdown in the Tigers' 41-39 win over Kansas.
Alexander, a senior, is finishing his collegiate career with almost unbelievable numbers. He has eclipsed the 200-yard mark in three of his last four games and is averaging 205 yards per contest in that same four game stretch.

 Derrick Washington - RBNov. 23 - 8:30 pm et
“He’s doing very, very well,” Missouri coach Gary Pinkel said of running back Derrick Washington (concussion).  “No headaches. We expect him to be 100 percent.”
It sound like Washington is going to play this Saturday against Kansas.  We would avoid the Missouri ground game in favor of quarterback Blaine Gabbert and wide receivers Danario Alexander and Jerrell Jackson.

 Danario Alexander - WRNov. 22 - 7:00 pm et
Missouri wide receiver Danario Alexander caught 11 balls for 173 yards and one touchdown in Saturday's 34-24 win over Iowa State.
Alexander is heating up to end the regular season, netting 578 yards in his last three games and this performance has the senior surpassing career- and season-records set by Jeremy Maclin in 2008. Sophomore Jerrell Jackson also had a big day, with eight receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown, perhaps showing glimpses of next year's offensive star power for the Tigers.

 Danario Alexander - WRNov. 19 - 9:30 pm et
Missouri wide receiver Danario Alexander notched his second offensive player of the week honors, the first Big 12 wide receiver to do so in a single season.
Alexander was one of hot sleeper picks in 2007 but wrist and knee injuries derailed his season and a guy by the name of Jeremy Maclin exploded on the scene.  Finally healthy, Alexander has 81 catches for 1238 yards and 11 scores on the year.

 Jared Perry - WRNov. 16 - 4:00 pm et
Missouri wide receiver Jared Perry will miss the rest of the regular season with a fracture to his tibia in his right leg.  Perry may be able to return for a bowl game.
With Perry out, even more of the workload will shift to Danario Alexander.

Missouri wide receiver Jared Perry had to receive assistance off the field due to a knee injury suffered on Saturday, though The Kansas City Star reports that x-rays "did not show a ligament tear."

Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert (ankle) is close to 100%, and head coach Gary Pinkel told The Kansas City Star that he's been impressed with the way his young gunslinger has gutted this injury out.
Gabbert remains a solid starting option in 2009, though his brightest days are still ahead of him.

 Blaine Gabbert - QBOct. 30 - 10:00 am et
Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert (ankle) had his cast removed and was back at practice on Tuesday.
There have been no further updates on Gabbert. Given that he practiced on Tuesday, we can only assume that he will start Saturday against Colorado.

 Blaine Gabbert - QBOct. 27 - 10:30 am et
Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert has been wearing a cast on his right leg to protect his sprained ankle.  “It’s precautionary,” Gabbert said.
Gabbert will have the cast removed Tuesday to see how the ankle is healing.  Gabbert insists he will practice and play Saturday against Colorado.  He'll need to return to practice first though.

 Blaine Gabbert - QBOct. 19 - 8:45 pm et
Missouri coach Gary Pinkel says that quarterback Blaine Gabbert, who is still feeling the effects of a sprained ankle, will likely play versus Texas on Saturday.  “He wants to play,” Pinkel said. “He should play. He’s better right now, this week, without question."
The way the Longhorn's defense has been playing this year, Gabbert & Co. will need to be at their best if they hope to knock off the Big 12's only remaining undefeated team.
